What a Coincidence

The others stopped their chatting and looked at them in confusion. What had happened had finally dawned on (Name) and she reddened in embarrassment.

"I- I mean, you were the person from the train a few days ago right?" she asked trying to save herself from humiliation.

Realization finally hit him and said, "ah, you're that girl."

She nodded and grinned at him, "I never got to say thanks, so, thank you about that, um, Kintoki-san?"

"It's Gintoki and it's nothing, don't sweat it."

The others are now looking at them back and forth and (Name) can feel one of them smirking. She looked at Tae and saw her giving a knowing smile.

"Heh, so you know each other?" Tae asked.

"Not really, he just happened to save me from a pervert in the train," (Name) replied, leaving a few details out in hopes of avoiding being teased by her friends. Tae's grin grew wider and (Name) gulped, not liking how this will go.

"So you just happen to run into him and now you meet him here by chance," she stated and the other females had caught on what the brunette was hinting.

"Isn't that great?!" Oryo cheerily joined in, "it's like fa-"

"S-shouldn't we order something now?!" (Name) interrupted, trying to change the flow of the conversation.

"Yes, I'm getting hungry!" Sakamoto replied, seemingly oblivious at the former exchange. (Name) sighed in relief but she can feel the knowing smirk the two females are sending her.

The waitress arrived with the menu and waited for all of their orders. The others had finished giving their order and when (Name) had finally decided that she'll be having the shop's best seller, she spoke.

"Parfait please."
"Parfait please."

She looked at the person in front of her then she heard giggling by her side. Her brows twitched and she said, "o-on second thought, I'll have a strawberry cake instead."

Now she was hearing muffled whispers and she looked at the two only to feel more embarrassed when she saw them smirking at her. She also spotted Mutsu turn her head away with her hand covering her mouth. She is definitely snickering! And she noticed from the corner of her eyes that Kondo and Sakamoto have finally caught on and are now grinning. The other's still processing and one just didn't care.

(Name) rolled her eyes at them, now annoyed and bothered by their antics. She looked away from them and tried her best to ignore them. She also avoided looking at the certain perm-head in front of her not wanting to know his reaction and not wanting to get this more awkward than she can handle.

As they waited for their orders, Oryo spoke,
"excuse us, we'll just be going to the rest room for a bit." The men nodded and Oryo had motioned for the rest of the girls to go with her.

When they had entered the rest room, she spoke, "so, assuming that the silver haired one is to (Name), which of the rest are you guys interested in?"

"Hey hey, what do you mean by that?" (Name) interjected.

"Do we have to say it out loud? You guys are like meant to be!" Oryo cheered.

"That's true. You even ordered the same food," Tae reasoned.

"In unison," and Mutsu added which caused the other two to giggle.

(Name) grunted and glared at them but failed. Suddenly Kyuubei smacked her fist on her palm and mouthed an "oh." (Name) looked at her and saw her smirk.

"Not you too!" (Name) shouted, face beat red. She sighed and pleaded, "please stop that."

"Why? Don't you know that love often blooms when two people are being teased?" Oryo chirped, smile still plastered on her face.

"Don't you also know that they often find it annoying?" (Name) countered.

"Aw (Name) don't be stubborn," Tae teased.

"I am not!"

"Well, we should probably stop it. We might be making it awkward for (Name) to make a move." Mutsu said and (Name) sweat dropped, not sure if she was helping or picking on her as well.

"I'm not making a move but yes, you guys are making it awkward."

"Well if you say so (Name), we'll stop," Kyuubei said and (Name) sighed in relief.

"Thank you."

The rest of the group date went well. The girls had stopped teasing (Name) but she can still feel them smiling at her whenever they see her chatting with Gintoki. In the end, Mutsu had been the one who pries Sakamoto off Oryo while Kyuubei was guarding Tae from Kondo. Hijikata was the first to go home while Katsura hogged the mic during their time in the Karaoke hub. (Name) didn't know how but she managed to exchange numbers with Gin which the girls had congratulated her for, with an accompanying smack on the back. (Name) glared at them and they stopped. It had been a long day and as much as she wants to deny it, she had enjoyed the group date.

Lmao this whole gokon was supposed to be a single chapter but then it got so long that I had to separate it xD I thought I'll only have 2 chapters but I ended up dragging it lol. Sorry if the ending feels kinda rushed.
