Chapter 2

Vics Pov

The guys met Isabella last night and I had tears in my eyes watching them all hold her, calling her beautiful and introducing themselves.

I woke up to Luke by my side. The hospital bed was small, but Luke managed to fit his skinny body next to mine. I reached over to the desk besides my bed, trying not take wake Luke, as I grabbed my phone.

I turned it on, the light burning my eyes.

"5:30am"

I read on the bright screen. I also saw I had a few text messages. One from an unknown number..

"Hey Vicky... I heard you're a mother now. Congrats.. At least you kept it."

My eyes widened in fear, no one has called me Vicky in years because they know I hate that nickname.

Then it hit me. My heart started pounding, and my eyes started to water.

"Drew.." I whispered softly.

How the fuck did he get my number?
I thought I'd NEVER hear from that asshole again.

"Baby, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" Luke quickly sat up, wiping the tears from my cheeks with his thumb.

I handed him my phone.

"Who is this?" Luke asked.

"Drew.." I said, looking down.

"Vic. Who the fuck is Drew?" Luke raised his voice a little, not with anger, but with concern.

I looked up at him, and covered my eyes with my hands. "I never told you or not really anyone because I was scared that I'd be looked at differently."

"Vic what?" He took my hands from my face, and held them in his, rubbing his thumb on mine.

"I was abused by a previous boyfriend. I was young and I thought I was in love. But it made me suffer from anxiety and depression as the relationship progressed and then I got pregnant. And I thought that, I was too young to be having a baby and I just didn't want him involved at all. I got one at a very very early stage of my pregnancy. Although I didn't agree with it, I had no choice." I said, taking a deep breath.

"Baby.. Why on earth would you think that I would look at you differently because of that? That just proves to me that you're stronger than I already thought you were. You're such an amazing woman. Look at our beautiful baby, look at our family. This is the start of a new life, us three." He took my forehead and softly kissed it.

I hugged him and didn't let go for a good 5 minutes.

"I love you Vic, we'll figure this out. We'll make sure this guy doesn't find you and that you're safe." Luke whispered into my shoulder.

We broke apart, "I love you too."
