A/N so I'm used to writing fairly long chapters, but in this story the chapters will be more short snippets. Enjoy!

"And how did that work out?" Lydia asks her best friend as they sit on Allison's small futon. The only apartment she could afford right out of high school is a tiny loft. Books are shoved in cubbies around her small television. The small blue futon is in the center of the living slash dining slash kitchen area. Up a stair case that is basically a ladder that's right next to the kitchen there is Allison's bedroom. Allison's bedroom is actually a small lost over her small kitchen, overlooking her minuscule apartment. And of course, shoved in the corner is the smallest bathroom in creation.

"Well it worked out as well as morning sickness could work out," Allison says sarcastically. Lydia crinkles her nose.

"Oh stop with the sarcasm, you're starting to sound like Stiles," she claims. Allison furrows her eyebrows.

"How long has it been since you guys were together with one of your little fuck buddy hook ups?" Allison asks referring to Lydia and Stiles' friends with benefits situation.

"About as long as is been since you and Scott broke up." Allison rubs her growing stomach protectively.

"Six months," she says dismally, "six freaking months since I pushed Scott away, six months since my parents kicked me out, six months since I got pregnant." Lydia smiles sadly.

"Would making this place look better make you feel better?" Lydia asks hopefully. Allison looks back up at her best friend and smiles.

"What do you suggest we do first?" Allison asks knowingly. Lydia smiles.

"Add some different colors, your entire apartment is blue and white, then put something on the walls, like some of your paintings, add some curtains and pazzaz!" Lydia exclaims. Allison laughs.

"How much is this gonna cost me?" Lydia holds up a credit card.

"My family's got money, I'll pay for everything," Lydia offers. Allison smiles brightly and thanks Lydia.

"Considering how great your place looks, I trust you," Allison tells Lydia who smiles.

Allison wanders aimlessly around the supermarket a few days after her and Lydia decided to revamp her apartment. A few people stare at her as she walks, one hand on her swelling stomach and the other holding her basket full of food. She grabs vegetable, fruit, tea bags, vitamins, and certain grains like quinoa. As she reaches for a container of dried oats so she can have oatmeal for breakfast, she sees a tall freckled boy a few feet away from her. Soon, she recognizes him and gasps quietly. As he begins to turn her way she whips her body around and begins to walk quickly away. Allison hears footsteps behind her as she tries to run away. "Hey wait up," the guy calls out. Allison, so focused on getting away from the boy, trips over a fallen box of soup. She regains her posture, but it's too late. The boy has a hold of her arm. Turning around slowly, she becomes face to face with Stiles Stilinski. "Oh my god, Allison, hi," he states happily, yet a little surprised. Allison puts on a fake smile and tries to hide her growing baby bump with her food basket.

"Oh hey Stiles didn't see you there," she lies. Stiles raises an eyebrow.

"Ya okay," he says sarcastically, "how you been?"

"Uhm good, look I-"

"You seen Lydia lately?" He interrupts. Allison raises her eyebrows.

"Uh ya, she lives on the second floor of the Harlock building, um apartment 215, her cell number's the same, I have to go, it was good to see you," Allison rambles. Stiles's raises an eyebrow.

"Wait Allison, Scott still thinks about you ya know," Stiles mentions. Allison bites her bottom lip, holding back tears.

"Oh," is all she says before she sprints to the register, pays and books it out of the store. As she begins her long trudge home, she gathers herself. Scott agreed to the break up. If he knew you were pregnant he would've left you anyways, Allison tells herself. She walks tiredly up the stairs to be small apartment and digs through her pocket for her keys, finding them next to a granola bar she packed in case she got hungry.

Upon entering her apartment she stops where she stands, mouth hanging wide open. Lydia stands happily in front of her. "Lydia you said you were redecorating, not putting in hardwood and adding a shiplap accent wall, and a door," Allison exclaims. Lydia frowns.

"If you hate it, we'll redo the whole thing again," Lydia insists, "but if you think this is big wait till you see what I'm doing to your bedroom tomorrow." Allison looks at her in shock.

"I absolutely love it, but I can't let you pay for this, I won't allow it." Lydia argues with Allison and eventually the Argent girl agrees to Lydia's offer.

Looking above her, Allison notices a new small light fixture. A smirk forms on her face and she throws her arms around Lydia. "Thank you so much!"
