Chapter 19

Bailey's P.O.V.

"It's about Chase" Jaz whispers in my ear through her tears. What does she mean 'It's about Chase'?!! What has happened?!! I tense up unsure if I really want to know the answer. I can see that she is in in misery even thinking about it. She looks broken. I look her in the eye as I tilt her head up so we are looking eye to eye. Her browny green eyes have changed to a beautiful emerald green since primary school. I get lost looking into them. "Tell me" I say. "Let's talk somewhere... more private." Jaz says in the quietest voice I have heard. We walk to her room and we lay down together on her bed. "I'm not sure how you are going to take this Bailey..." She says looking away. "Well you're going to have to tell me to find out." I say holding her hand. We interlock fingers then she says something I didn't want to hear.

Jaz's P.O.V.

I'm not sure how to say this. How to let him know. I'm actually nervous about how he is going to take this. "I'm not sure how you are going to take this Bailey..." I say looking away. "Well you're going to have to tell me to find out." Bailey says. I can sense the fear in his voice and it hurts me inside even more. He holds my hand and we interlock our fingers together. I look at him in the eye and say what I thought I would never have to tell anyone again.
