Chapter 5

Jaz's P.O.V.

When I reach my house I walk in and Dad is cooking hotdogs for lunch. I skip to my room place my skateboard on the ground and lay down on my queen size bed. I then feel a vibration in my back pocket, as I look at the name I smile. It's Jai saying, "hi Jaz! Are you doing anything tomorrow? xo" Jai sent me an "xo"???!!! Does that mean that he likes me or does he do that to everyone? Anyway I decide to text back, "hey Jai! I am free for tomorrow, why? xo" Thinking whatever I have on tomorrow can wait. "Do you want to go out and have some ice cream together? xo" "Sure thing! What time? Xo" I reply instantly. "3 o'clock, is that fine? xo" "Yeah that is perfectly fine with me!" "Cya then! Xo" "Bye xo" I reply as a huge smile comes across my face. I am so excited!!!!! Is this like a date? What am I going to wear?

Jai's P.O.V.
"Bye xo" Jaz answers. I wonder if she likes me since she answered back to everything with an "xo"? No wait Jai, you did that first so she is probably just sending it back to seem nice. I get out of my thoughts and the rest of the day goes so fast it is bedtime. I take of my clothes and slip on my pyjama shorts and lay in bed soon dozing off to sleep.
