Chapter 22

*Next day*

Jai's P.O.V.

I wake up to be blinded by the sun seeping through my curtains which are half open. I grab my phone and look at the time. It is 10:00, I must've been really tired as I don't have big sleep-ins! I jump out of bed and walk down to the kitchen which is filled with the smell of mums delicious home made pancakes! Yummm! After breakfast I get ready and decide that I will go see Jaz since she STILL hasn't replied back to any of my messages and hasn't rang me back either! At around 11:30 I walk for about twenty minutes with my guitar to reach Jaz's house. I am planning to sing her my new song.

Jaz's mums (Melissa) P.O.V.

As I am starting to vacum the house I hear a knock at the door. I open it to see who it is. "Hi Mrs Robertson, is Jaz here?" "Hi Jai come in, please call me Mel, she is up in her room." I say with a smile. "Okay thanks!" Jai says as he walks to Jaz's room. I'm so glad Jaz has Jai, he is so sweet and nice! I continue on with vacuming the house.

Jai's P.O.V.

I enter Jaz's house and greet Mrs Robertson. I walk to her room to find the door the slightest bit open. I knock on her door and go in. As soon as I saw her and a boy kissing my heart sunk and broke into a million pieces. Jaz then realized that I am standing at the door and stops kissing the boy. She looks at me and I can tell that she is lost for words."Sorry.. I interrupted you." I say as a tear rolls down the side of my face. "Jai, wait! It isn't what it looks like!" Jaz says. I know what it looks like and I don't need anyone to tell me different. I stand out the front of her room out of view listening to their conversation.

Jaz's P.O.V.

After a big sleep-in and getting organized Bailey walks into my room. He sits down next to me on my bed. "Jaz, I cried myself to sleep thinking about Chase last night." "It's alright Bailey, I always think of him." I say placing my hand on his. We are quite close and he starts to lean in. Without realizing I lean in too. Bailey closes his eyes and starts to kiss me. Our lips connect and it feels like time is frozen. Nothing in the world matters anymore. It's just me and him. Then I feel like someone is watching. I pull away from the kiss and look at my door and see... Jai. He is holding his guitar and looks really cute. "Sorry.. I interrupted you." He says with a tear rolling down the side of his face. I just want to get up and hug him but I can't. He looks like his heart has just shattered into a million pieces. "Jai, wait! It isn't what it looks like!" I say. Jai then walks out of my room and I feel horrible. I am such a bitch! "Who is that?!" Bailey says in shock. "My boyfriend." I say with tears rolling down my cheeks.

Bailey's P.O.V.

"Jaz, I cried myself to sleep thinking about Chase last night." I say. "It's alright Bailey, I always think of him." Jaz says cheering me up. She places her hand on mine and I lean in to kiss her. She leans in too and I close my eyes as our lips connected. Jaz pulls away and I notice a boy with a guitar standing at her door. "Sorry.. I interrupted you." This boy says with a tear rolling down the side of his face. Who is he?! "Jai, wait! It isn't what it looks like." Jaz says as he walks out the door. "Who is that?!" I ask confused. "My boyfriend." She says as she begins to cry. "You have a boyfriend?! Just tell me, if that kiss wasn't what it looked like, then what was it?" I ask. "Yes I do have a boyfriend!" I say kind of yelling at Bailey. "That kiss meant nothing. Nothing at all!" I say walking out of my room. I glance back at Bailey over my shoulder and he is lost for words. Now I have hurt two of my bestfriends feelings. Great.

Jai's P.O.V.

"Who is that?!" The boy says. I was actually thinking the same thing about him! "My boyfriend." Jaz says. I can tell that she is getting upset. "You have a boyfriend?! Just tell me, if that kiss wasn't what it looked like, then what was it?" I hear the boy ask. "Yes I do have a boyfriend!" I hear Jaz yell. "That kiss meant nothing. Nothing at all!" I can hear Jaz get up from her bed so I literally sprint out of her house leaving Mel confused. I actually have to admit I probably looked so stupid just then! I giggle to myself then I run. Not to home, to my favourite place to think.

Jaz's P.O.V.

I need some time away from Bailey. From Jai. From everyone. I run out the door leaving mum worried and I walk to my favourite spot to think. After I reach my spot, I see Jai but I decide to ignore him making it look like I didn't see him and walk to a tree far away from him. What am I going to do?!
