Chapter 32

Jai's P.O.V.

As I let go of her hand for the very last time ever I feel a squeeze.

I am lost for words. Nothing can describe how this feels to know that Jaz is still there. I stop in my tracks pausing and think to myself did that really happen? She squeezes again and her heart rate rapidly changes from a slow and steady pace to a very high fast pace. I am now panicking! "DOCTOR HELP! PLEASE SOMEBODY!!!! DOCTOR!!!" I scream in shock not sure what I should do. I let go of Jaz's hand and run out the door. The doctor runs into the room. "What happened? Tel me everything!" He says sternly. I explain everything and he looks like his brain is about to explode from overthinking. From then on everything he did and said was a blur. I felt dizzy and sat down. Five minutes later Melissa runs into the room shocked. "What happened?" She says staring right at me. At this point to be honest I don't want to explain everything all over again and listen to Melissa telling me things. Right now. Right here. I want to know if Jaz is okay.

5 minutes later....

"Please leave the room." The doctor tells me sternly as he is trying to figure things out. Melissa gives me a glare and I leave the room. Great. I think she hates me. I hope, I pray that Jaz is going to be okay. Tears start trembling down my cheeks. After two hours which seems like forever, of crying and waiting outside of the room listening to mumbles the doctor and Melissa walk out of the room both looking at the ground. "She's alive and out of her coma, but she is having a nap. You can see her now." Melissa says. "She's a miracle you are lucky that she has survived." The doctor says. I hug them both with joy. I am the luckiest and happiest boy on Earth right now!!! Words can not describe how happy and lucky I am! I can not believe that Jaz is alive!!! Tears start rolling down the side if my face. They aren't sad tears though, they are happy tears. I walk into the room and there she is. Her heart rate is beating fine at the right speed. She looks like she has life again running through her body. I take the seat beside her and gently hold her hands not wanting to awaken her. To be here with Jaz is just magnificient!

5 minutes later...

I look over to Jaz and her eyelids flutter open to reveal her beautiful green eyes. I smile and kiss her forehead. Tears of joy fill my eyelids and start rolling down my cheeks once again. She looks down realizing that she is wearing the necklace I had given her. "What is this?" She asks with the softest whisper I have ever heard. I have missed listening to her voice. Just listening to her voice makes me happy! "Just a little gift." I say with the biggest smile. Her curious look turns into a confused look. The next three words she spoke broke me. "Who are you?"
