Chapter 34

Jai's P.O.V.

I wake up to the sound of my phone ringing. As I pick it up I look at the time hoping it isn't 8:00am or earlier since I only woke up at 7:00am this morning. 8:36am. I guess I slept a bit later than I expected. Oh well I have no plans for the day anyway. I answer the call and it is an unknown number. "Hello?" I say wondering who it is. "Hi is this Jai?" Says a girly voice. "Yes who is this?" I ask getting very curious. "It's Abigail, Jaz's bestie?" I try and remember her but nothing pops into my head. "I'm guessing that you don't remember me." She chuckles. "Sorry, have I met you?" "Yeah ummm one time when I was shopping with Jaz... And she tried on that bikini...." I instantly remember now. "Ohhh yes! I remember my friend had a crush on you! You're that blonde head girl right?" "Yes that's me! Was your friends name Blake by any chance?" "Yeah." "Oh, I had a crush on him too." She laughs. I can tell that she feels slightly embarrassed by the tone of her voice. "I should get you two together!" I say in excitement. "Yeah but he probably doesn't even like me anymore... That was ages ago!" She says sighing. "I bet he still does!" "That'd be great, but Jai that isn't the reason I rang." She chuckles. "Oh yeah sorry." I laugh. "First of all I have to say I am sorry. But sorry isn't enough." Abigail says seeming to be getting upset. "Abigail, you don't need to say sorry." "But I'm sorry about how I haven't seen Jaz, haven't called, text... everything. I feel terrible!! I have been overseas. I just heard that she had been rushed to a hostpital and was in a coma. And she's alive now! How is she?!" Abigail says happily. Does she know? About Jaz loosing her memory? I hope so. "Jai, you there?" She asks. I forget the thoughts and decide that I need to tell her. But I don't know how.


Abigail's P.O.V.

"Jai, you still there?" I ask wondering if he has ended the call. "Oh ummm sorry. I was just thinking." "So... How is she?" "I think we need to talk face to face about this." Jai says in a sad tone. Why? It's not like if she has died. She's alive! What's happened? I'm starting to worry now. "Umm okay. When? Where?" I gulp. "The park in 15?" He asks. Our town is pretty small so there is only one park. "Sure. See you then." I say wondering where this is going. "Bye." He says before hanging up. I get ready and before I know it it's time to go.


Jai's P.O.V.

How am I going to tell her? I guess I'll just have to try my best.
