the angel outcast

the first day of a new life

while walking to the store he felt relieved yet worried because he no longer had to take commands and no angels or demons would bother him but he was worried he would mess things up. he got in the store but didn't know what to buy it had been over 50 years since he had been to the store to buy food so he didn't recognize most of the products. one thing he hoped was still being made was M&Ms , he had no problem with having that as the first thing he ate after crawling out of hell. he walked. he saw a sign that said candy and chocolate then walked towards it like it was a sign that says home. when he got to the candy aisle he was amazed by what he saw, there were so many colorful candies and sweets his smile grew tremendously when he saw all the candy. he walked down the aisle in search of the candy, his smile started to shrink as he got closer to the end of the aisle but then he saw them. his eyes widened up, his palms got sweaty, his smile grew , he reached down to grab the bag with the most excited look on his face and once the bag touched his fingertips his wings shot out knocking down the aisle behind him and the one behind that one and so on until there were no more to be knocked over. hellisten quickly sucked in his wings before anyone could see and walked to the cash register than puts the M&Ms on the counter.

"did you find everything alright sir?" the cashier laughed out

"yes, why do you think 35 lbs of M&Ms isn't enough" hellisten questioned calmly but was actually stressing out in his head

"no but usually when people come in the store at 3 A.M. they buy milk or cereal not 35lbs of chocolate" the cashier chuckled " if you don't mind me asking do you know what happened to the aisle "

"um, no" hellisten muttered

"well then that will be $25.50" the cashier stated

hellisten paid, grabbed his food and walked out the store and started walking home. hellisten didn't think he did to bad, well no one got hurt at least. being around humans wasn't as hard as he thought. as he was walking home he noticed a huge public pool that reminded him of how bad he wanted to go swimming while in hell, so he decide to go to the pool when it opened plus it would be a good socializing exercise. he went home and slept to pass the time.

hellisten walked into the pools lounge area watching the humans and see how they act in a place like this while he ate his M&Ms. hellisten found the humans to act even stranger here, they attacked each other with water doing no damage to the other, swimming back and forth and sitting under water . hellisten was also confused on why the humans wore just little amount of clothing while swimming. he thought he was getting it down on how to act human around water so he got in the water but as soon as he touched the water he forgot everything he just learned about acting normal he went wild splashing around, playing underwater, laughing like no one was around. then he stopped and noticed everyone was staring at him.

"oh um, sorry, i'll just go now" hellisten apologized while walking out of the pool

hellisten felt so ashamed of how different he was even without the wings. he was just going to go home and try again tomorrow but in a different place until he saw something unusual. by the vending machine hellisten saw a girl lifeguard pushed up against the wall by guy. hellisten hadn't seen other humans do this so it seemed strange to him, he could see her struggling to get off the wall but the guy wouldn't let her go. hellisten wasn't going to do anything but for an unknown reason he started to get more and more worried so he started walking towards the two to help.

"come on baby you know you'll like it" the guy said while trying to kiss her

"no stop! i don't like you, let me go!" the lifeguard said frustratedly trying to stop him from kissing her
