The Next Day
Saturday.
(Y/n) promised me we would hang out today.
The whole day, just me and (y/n).
(Y/n) and Tom.
Tom and (y/n).
Has a nice ring to it, dont you think?
Anyway, I'm thinking of bringing her to (fav restaurant) for lunch. After that, I'll take her to see a movie, and after that, we can hang out before dinner-
"Tom, it's nine twenty!" Brian yells.
"Oh, thanks!" I say, giving him a thumbs up and climbing into the carriage.
"You sure you'll be okay on your own?" Brian asks worriedly. I smile, thinking of (y/n).
"Yeah, I'm sure." I wave. He waves back, and in a blink of an eye, I'm in front of (y/n)'s house.
BRIAN
I'm happy.
(Y/n)'s a good influence on Tom. Ever since they've been hanging out, Tom's become more cheerful, social, and less angered.
Plus, I can finally catch a break.
I open up Wattpad and sigh contentedly, scrolling through my News Feed.
Something in parcticular catches my eye.
It's a book, with a picture of a cartoon heart surrounded by flames.
Anger || (yours and tom's ship name) AU
I chuckle. They already have a ship name?
I check out the author. I recognize the name. Hellbent. He's a demon, too. He lives in the underworld, a few blocks away from the palace.
I add the book to my Fanfiction reading list, and continue scrolling, humming softly.
(Y/N)
"Brian isn't here?" I ask, taking a seat and smoothing my skirt down.
"Nah, he wanted to let us hang out." Tom shrugs. "But, um, if I do get angry and try to hurt you, I want you to run."
"What?" I ask. He ignores me and continues talking.
"Run to the carriage and drive it into the Underworld. Get Brian and bring him to me. He'll probably handle it. And if I get angry in the carriage with you in it..."
I blink up at him.
He sighs, bringing his eyes up to meet mine.
"Do whatever you can to get me out. Push me out, lure me out, even throw a weapon at me so I'll dodge it by jumping out. I don't care. I don't want to hurt you, (y/n). Get Brian."
I sigh. "Tom, you won't hurt me. I know you won't." I smile, determined. "I'll make sure you aren't... triggered."
We laugh. I had shown him a 'Triggered' meme earlier in the week, and he loved it.
