Why would anyone ever lie to her?

"What is it?"

"Nothing. Just felt that we should stay together you know?"

"....Did I say something?"

"Huh? Oh no. I'm just lost in thoughts."

If only I knew what those thoughts were, especially if they are about me or us. God I hope some of them are.

"Are you sure you don't want to talk?"

"I would like to, but I don't wanna ruin the trip."

"Well we can talk back at the dorm."

"You sure?" She asks as her eyes brighten and become wider.

"Yeah! And believe me when I say this, I'll always be here if you have any problems."

"Thanks."

"Come here." I say putting my arms out.

"You'll have to catch me first!" She says sticking her tongue out and running.

"That's not fair! you got a head start!" I yell running after her.

-I got 2034 on my practice SSAT
