14 Hours Left...

I Woke Up From A Long Five Hour Nap And I Felt Completely Rejuvenated. I Stretched Out And Then Quickly Checked My Phone And I Didn't Have Any Missed Calls From Dacieon, Nor Semaj. I Groaned As I Got Up And Dragged Myself Towards The Bathroom So I Could Wash My Face And Brush My Teeth.

After I Got Myself Together, I Decided To Get Dressed And Go Over To Dex's House. I Know It Was Stupid To Try And Do This Alone, But Dacieon Was Taking His Precious Time And I'd Be Damned If I Let Dex Die Because Of Me. I Walked Upstairs And Headed Into My Old Bedroom Where All Me And SaMiyah Bags Were. I Changed My Clothes And Decided To Write A Note To My Mom. I Told Her That If Anything Were To Happen To Me That She And India Have Custody Of My Daughter. I Wanted To Make Sure She Was Well Taken Care Of Before I Went To Risk My Life For Someone Else. Someone I Really Loved And Cared About.

Once I Was Dressed, I Headed Downstairs And Placed The Note On The Counter Where I Knew My Mom Would See It. I Then Grabbed My Keys And Headed Out Of The House.

Twenty Minutes Later, I Was Driving Down Dex's Street And That's When The Nerves Started To Kick In. My Heart Was Beating Fast As I Pulled Up To His House, But Then I Quickly Pulled Off. I Don't Think I Can Do This. I Stopped At The End Of The Street And Sent Dacieon A Quick Text Message. I Basically Told Him That I Couldn't Wait Anymore And That I Had To Save Dex Right Now! After Sending The Text, I Turned Around And Drove Back Down The Street. I Parked In The Driveway And Turned My Car Off.

"God...Please Be With Me." I Said To Myself, As I Stepped Out Of The Car. I Slowly Walked Up The Stairs And Just As I Was About To Knock On The Door, Somebody Grabbed My Mouth From Behind And Dragged Me Off The Porch. I Tried To Scream, But My Mouth Was Covered So I Started Kicking And Screaming.

"Aye Baby Chill." I Heard Someone Say. I Looked Behind Me And Saw Dex, As He Let My Mouth Go.

"Dex? Oh My God!" I Said, As I Hugged Him. He Groaned In Pain As He Hugged Me Back.

"Oh Shit...I'm Sorry! Are You Okay? How Did You Get Out? What Did He Do To You?" I Asked, Anxiously.

"Asia...Shut The Hell Up And Get Me Out Of Here Before This Nigga Wakes Up And Realizes I'm Gone." He Said. I Nodded As I Helped Him Up And Struggled To Get Him Into The Car.

"Man What Took Your Ass So Long? Was You Waiting On The Timer To Run Out On My Ass Or Something?" Dex Asked, As Soon As I Got Into The Car And Pulled Off.

"No...I Wanted To Come Save You Right Away, But Your Friend Wanted To Wait. How Did You Get Out Anyways?" I Asked.

"I Cut Myself Out Of The Extension Cord I Was Tied Up With. Maj Had Been Patrolling My Ass The Entire Night And After He Beat My Ass Like A Human Piñata, He Finally Took His Ass To Sleep. It Took Me While, But I Got Myself Loose And Made A Run For It. Not Before I Turned On The Gas From The Stove Though." He Said, Smiling.

"What? Why Did You Do That?" I Asked.

"Because...Hold Up, Hold Up. What Friend?" He Asked, Completely Ignoring My Last Question.

"Dacieon." I Said. He Chuckled.

"Leave It Up To That Fool To Take His Precious Time, But I Know He Had Some Type Of Plan On Deck." Dex Said, As He Dialed Dacieon's Number. While They Had Their Conversation, I Drove Dex To The Nearest Hospital So That He Could Be Looked At. He Really Looked Pale And Weak, And Considering The Fact That He Said Semaj Beat Him With A Bat....I'm Glad I Got To Him When I Did.

"Aye Ma...Where You Going?" Dex Asked Me.

"The Hospital. You Need To Get Looked At." I Said.

"Nah...That Shit Is Dead. We Need To Head Back Home. Where's Is Lil Bit?" Is Asked.

"With My Mom. Dex, You Need To Get Looked At." I Said.

"I Will Ma. Just Take Me To A Hospital In Tennessee." I Said. I Sighed And Nodded. I Headed Back To My Mom's House So I Could Pack Me And SaMiyah's Stuff Up. Hopefully My Mom Is Back Home With My Baby Girl.

(Short Chapter, But Like I Said...I Been Having Writers Block So I'm Really Sorry You Guys. My Brain Has Been Working A Little So Hopefully I Can Get Back To Updating On A Regular Again. Hopefully You All Enjoyed This Chapter Though!)
