The monster just stood there. Its mouth was sewn shut, and it had bizarre black markings on its bare chest. Long blades slid out of its wrists, and it started slowly walking towards Cyanide.

Cyanide realised that the room was deserted save for her and the monster. And a man with a beard who was stood at the doorway.
'I bet that you're regretting doing this, aren't you?' Chuckled the Professor.
Cyanide stood her ground, steely determination in her stare.
'Oh, my name's Edgar; Professor Edgar Wyndham.' The Professor introduced himself.
'So am I doing all of the talking?' He quipped, twirling his beard.

Cyanide smiled, and purple energy began to crackle around her two swords.
'Oh jeez. Those look dangerous.' Remarked Edgar.
'See for yourself.' Said Cyanide, before attempting to jump at Wyndham. She failed instantly; as the monster teleported directly in-front of her and jabbed the swords out of her hands. The energy transferred to her fists and she grabbed hold of the monster's head with her glowing hands. She could see those human eyes feel pain. The creature teleported again, only to reappear behind her. She swivelled around and lashed out at the creature with twin daggers. The blades connected with the beast's neck and then Cyanide blew a cloud of purple vapour into its face.

It stammered backwards momentarily.

'Ooh. You're a mutant, too - aren't you, dearest Stephanie.'
These words cut through Cyanide like a knife - long enough for the monster to teleport its legs around her neck and slam her to the ground. The blade emerged from its wrist and was held to her throat - just about drawing a single drop of blood.

'This is Machina, by the way, he's my special project.' Giggled Edgar. 'Just think... You could have been like him. You could have been like Ryan Wilson. He was a lovely kid, he really was.' At this; Edgar could no longer control his own laughter at his own insanity.

Edgar had about a split second in which he felt the air move around him, and then he was hit by a ridiculously quick force. Clarke Maximoff stood in front of him, twirling a switchblade adorned with his blood. Blood which was dripping from a wound his stomach that had been inflicted by the knife.

A blast of sonic energy smashed into Machina, but his teleportation was too quick, and he slashed his blade at Maddy. Maddy clumsily ducked underneath the sword-stroke, but was then hit by a bolt of concussive energy spewed forth from the monster's eyes.

Clarke tackled Machina backwards against a wall, and flicked her blade out and drove it into his forehead. A drip of blood seeped out from the wound, but then Clarke recoiled in disgust as the flesh closed around the knife, healing instantaneously.

Amidst the chaos, Cyanide kept her eyes on Edgar. And her mind on ripping out his throat. The lunatic had clearly seen a chance to escape in the brawl - and Cyanide had clearly seen a chance to stop him from doing this. Just as Wyndham rounded the corner to leave the room, Cyanide leapt at him and drove him backwards against the wall of the corridors; blades crackling hungrily.

Cyanide heard a thud as both Clarke and Maddy were caught by surprise at Machina's teleport. Machina then appeared at Cyanide's back, only to have one of the blades slice through his neck and purple energy blown all-over the stump where it's head had been.

Cyanide's boot collided with the monster's chest and shoved it back onto the floor of the corridor in a pool of its own, now purple-tinted blood.

She drew the other sword to the lunatic's neck.
'Edgar. Do you remember Tanis? My sister?' She spat coldly.
'Ugh. Y. Yyye. Yes.' Groaned a severely injured Wyndham.
'What did you do to her?' Stephanie's yelled in a sudden burst of rage and insanity.
'I tried to help her.'
'By killing her?'
'By preserving her.'
'You sick freak.'
'For the next generation...'

At this - Stephanie Wyndham drove the sword through Edgar's neck.
