Samandriel'S P.O.V

" What the hell was that!"  I thought to myself.

It was like my very soul was tearing when I looked into his eyes. The world itself disappeared and all that was left was him. The broken, hurt vampire that haunts my dreams. Kneeling there in astral form looking in his eyes, I felt the air being sucked out of the room. I couldn't breath. My lungs burned from lack of oxygen. The pain in my heart felt so real. The raw need I saw in his mesmerizing eyes matched the need that suddenly bloomed in me. It hurt so much to see him like that. I need to find him. I need to find out why I feel this way. Why do I want to be near him. Why I can't stop thinking about him. What has bound him to me so strongly.

Regaining my breath I got up from the ground and steadied myself. He was coming here. To Ireland. I was conflicted by that. How should I feel about that. I loved Marius. I loved him with all my heart but this feeling that I have with the vampire is unlike anything that I have ever felt. Its like my soul has been hollow with out the vampire. When I see him, even in my dreams, I feel whole. I feel joy like I have never felt. I have never admitted that to any one, let alone out loud. I never felt that with Marius. But he is Marius's killer. I can't get that image out of my head. That pain and loss that I feel will never go away.

I walked back  upstairs to my bedroom. I felt tired. I needed to sleep. Using magic to strip my cloths from my body I laid down with nothing on. The silken covers slide there way up my body of there own accord. I snuggled into the bed further,  hoping sleep would take me quickly.

Soon enough my eyelids felt weighted and I couldn't hold them open any longer. darkness engulfed me and I slept.

I was standing in a dark forest. Pine trees towered above me. Patches of dark starry night shown through the black canopy. A mist hovered just above the ground slightly rolling and pulsing with the life of the forest itself. I stood there taking in all the sounds and smells. I could hear the small creatures of the night scurrying though the trees.  In the distance I could hear an owl call out into the night. The forest smelt moist and woodsy. The pine sent permeated my mind and I absorbed it all in.

I close my eyes just breathing in all that is around me ,when I heard a snap! My eyes flash open  and I scan my surroundings. I see a shadow to my left. It's darting between the trees. I try to look closer but it keeps moving. The shadow moved deeper into the woods. I followed it as it seemed to float on top of the mist.

" Samandriel"  the wind whispers

I fall behind the specter  as it is moving to fast. it stops just ahead of me beckoning me to continue. the spectuer's gestures seem so familiar to me. like have seen them before. I stare at the shadow. there is a latent image superimposed on to the shadow. I stare and I almost...see...Marius! It's him! Why is he in this dark place? I instantly pick up the Pace trying to reach him but he continues deeper into the forest

"Marius wait, where are you going? I called out to him.

He was running from me. Why is he running from me? I chase after him be he just moves faster and faster than I can run. Soon we come to a clearing. Within the clearing are more dark wisps floating around. They begin to take shape and I see Marius setting within what looks like a tavern. He is not alone. he is with a young man we knew from the village. They seem closer than need be for just a simple friend. I inch closer as I Begin to  hear clips of conversation between them.

" Aye, he is a sorcerer, and he thinks I am his mate. I tell you, he is head over heels in love with me." he whispered to the young man.

" Do you think he will cast the spell for you?"

" I think I can get him to do it. Once I am immortal I can just spend eternity a massing wealth and women." He gloated to him.

The young man looked concerned for a moment.

" Aren't you afraid  the sorcerer will kill you after you betray him?" he asked Marius

" Nae, he wouldn't hurt me. He loves me too much. I will just fain disinterest. That I need some time to myself to adjust to all of the changes. It is a brilliant idea" He spoke marveling at his own ingenious.

The young man agreed and the two of them whispered even closer, stealing kisses when they thought no one was looking. The wisps dispersed. The dark shadow showed itself again. this time the vampire's image was superimposed over it. the wisps returned and swirled into a new image. The vampire was at the other end of the tavern watching Marius and his guest. He had heard all of what Marius said to the boy. and he looked furious. the moment my eyes laid on him, my heart quickened. my breath came in shallow pants and my member grew painful erect. Lust swept through me so fiercely, I lost my balance. I was so turned on by his anger. His fury fed my lust. In that brief moment I wanted him inside me. I wanted to taste his essence on my tongue. I wanted Him. In the mist of my lust fuled fantasy, Marius got up and left the tavern with his guest. The vampire followed quickly behind them. The scene clouded then cleared to show Maruis being held  in one hand by the vampire while he fed on the young man. When he finished draining the man, he turned to Maruis with red and gore spilling down his front and spoke.

"You will leave this place and never return!" He hissed in his ear.

" You will leave Samandriel alone!"

"I will. Please don't kill me! I will leave. Please Gods, don't let me die like this!" Maruis begged to the unseen Gods.

The vampire released him seemingly disappearing into nothing. Standing there stunned for a second, Marius then ran for dear life. His wisps evaporated into nothing while the vampire' s stood in the darkness watching Marius run. The feelings that raged inside me conflicted everything that I thought I knew. Was Marius using me to gain immortality? The whisps and the shadow swirled together before disapperaring into nothing. I began to feel heavy. the fog that had been hovering above the ground, whipped around me. Heavier and heaveier I felt until I couldn't keep my eyes open. i sunk down into the ground and closed them. The last thought I had was about the vampire. and my heart swelled at that moment. Then darkness.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I awoke from the dream panting and sweaty. The swelling in my heat ( and my lower parts) was still lingering. What I had just seen was a vision of the past. Of things I did not know of.  It caused  so many conflicting feelings within me. Did Marius truly love me? All these question and more swam around in my head. Questions I did not want escaping my lips.

"Was Marius my true mate?"

There was a dull ache in my heart at the thought. I just hated this. He was coming here to find me. I'm going to wait, and when he  gets here, I will cast a spell to find the truth. I will know why I feel this way soon enough.
