Chapter 7: The Truth

I can't believe he came back and thought that if he said sorry that would be all I need and we could go back to being friends. Well he is just lucky that I really want my best friend back. But I'm going to make him wait before I tell him he is my best friend again. But I wont make it really long cause I need his help, he is the only one that knows what happened and who is after me so I need him.

I have a plan though, because I am his best friend I will put him through a test. He has to guess what my sport is. For those of you that don't know my favorite sport is football. I grew up with Carson, his brothers, and my dad who are all football fans all my life so I learned everything there is to know about football by the age of five. I started playing football when I was 10 and I was the quarterback and caption of my high school football team for three years. Last year during the last game in the last quarter I was tackled by the other team and they broke my foot in three places and my knee was damaged so bad that they had to put in a metal knee and I can't play anymore. But I'm still on the team and the captain I just can't play unless they absolutely need me. I'm the third string quarterback now. They haven't needed me at all this season and its almost the last game of the season.

I'm headed over to the boundaries of the Blood Runners pack with the elders, Patch, and Octavia. We are gonna meet Rhydian and Carson there. Its time that we tell him that he is the last HOPE child and that it is time that we all train for the battle that we hope never happens.

The first person that I see is Carson, I don't know where Rhydian is but he was supposed to meet us after we talked to Carson.

“Carson, we thank you for bringing us the last HOPE child and we hope that one day you will be able to tell us why you left the pack and that maybe you will consider coming back.” on of the elder says.

“I'm glad to be back to my home town and I'm glad I could find the last HOPE child before the enemy found him. And I hope one day I can come back to the pack but I have to wait for right now. It is not the right time to come back but soon it will be I hope.”

“Have you told him what he is?” asked one of the elders that is always asking questions. He is never happy with anything till it is proven with his own eyes.

“No I haven't told him. It is not my place. It is the future Alpha and the elder's job and I don't want there to be any bad blood between anyone.”

“Good. How soon till Ethian will be here.” asked the third elder.

“His name is Rhydian and I told him to be here when the moon is up and that should be with in the next couple of minutes.” I snapped at him. It was the like the tenth time I have told them this, but I guess they don't trust there future Alpha.

“No need to be so harsh I was just asking.”

Before I could reply Carson interrupted.

“Did you here that.”

When he said that is when we all heard the snap. We tensed ready to get into wolf form.
