Meeting Lucy

*years later*

"We've looked for Igneel's everywhere man, don't you want a break?" I say

"N-n-never..." He mutters, I always feel bad for whenever we have to ride a train.

The speaker turns on "Next stop Hargeon..."

"That's our stop" I say, "come on, we have to go..."

"I-I swear... I'll ne-never ride a t-train again..." He mutters

"You say that every time. Now let's go." I say

"I'm gonna be sick..."

"Come on! WE STOPPED!" I say dragging him into the aisle. The train attendants give me slightly concerned looks.

"Motion sick" I say, they nod.

I get Natsu off the train and drop him on the station floor and sit next to him.

"I need a minute..." He says

"Yeah I know... Stay here I'll be back" I say, I find the closest cafe and buy a latte, a cookie, and a muffin. I eat the cookie on the walk back, when I get there Natsu hasn't moved an inch.

"I got you a muffin.." I say putting the bag next to his face.

"I know..." He says he sits up "chocolate..?"

"Of course it is" I say "Do I buy anything else?" I take a sip from my Chocolate latte

"You got a cookie too. Where is it..." He says. Shit, I didn't wash my hands afterwards...

"I ate it already" I say

"Lemme guess was that chocolate too?" He asks

"So what if it was..." I say, I sip from my latte

He laughs and stands up. "Well, we have a dragon to find!" He runs out of the station.

"WAIT!" I yell after him.

We take off down busy streets. Natsu probably ran over people at the pace he was going. I followed trying to keep track of his scent, it was just to crowded to be sure.

"ASTRID?" Natsu calls

"I'm back here" I push past some people muttering an apology

"Hurry up, you're so slow" he snaps as I catch up with him

I roll my eyes "But Natsu-" he already disappeared down an ally way

I follow after him, that boy always seems to know where to go.

"You really think the Salamander is here?" He asks

Right that's why we came here... "Yeah probably. I mean that's what... What... That one guy told us"

"If he lied to me I'm going to fuck his ass up" Natsu snaps

"I'm sure you will" I laugh

"Oh, I think that's him" he says running off again

"Igneel, ya crazy bastard how've ya been?" Natsu says pushing through a crowd of girls

"Do I know you?" The man asks

"Fuck me, wrong guy" Natsu says turning around

"HOW DARE YOU TURN YOUR BACK TO THE ALL POWERFUL SALAMANDER!!" He yells

Suddenly the mob of fangirls attack Natsu leaving him stuck in a trash can

"Oh by the way, join me on my yacht tonight, you're all invited!" He flies away with his fire magic... It's not very impressive fire magic either...

"Natsu where the hell are your fangirls to back you up?" I say looking down at him, I sip from my latte

"How should I know?" Natsu groans. I pull him out of the trash can, all of the trash falls out in the process

"Um... Hi, I'm Lucy." A blonde girl approaches us "I wanted to thank you for helping me back there"

Natsu and I exchange a confused glance

"Uh yeah, no problem" Natsu says

"That guy was using a charming spell and you broke it, so thanks a lot" she says "hey we should get lunch, you guys look hungry"

"...Oh you have no idea" Natsu says

Poor girl doesn't know what she signed up for, I almost laughed.

We enter the restaurant and the first thing Natsu does it order everything on the menu. The blonde chic looks shocked.

"Oh you think that's all he's going to eat, huh? This pink haired idiot can eat twice his weight in food... To be completely honest it's a shocker we have any money for rent..."

"You calling me fat?!" Natsu snaps stuffing his face full of food

"Hell no, look at you,I could grate cheese on your abs!! You're like a wizard or something" I say

He starts laughing, Lucy looks confused

"I'm a wizard, I mean I don't look like one but I am" she says watching in horror as Natsu stuffed a whole pizza in his mouth

"Oh yeah?" I say taking a sip from my latte "what type of magic you do?"

"I'm a celestial wizard. I summon spirits from other realms" she says

"Ah, I've heard of those" I say

Natsu attempts to talk around a mouthful of food but I can't understand him, neither can Lucy by the looks of it.

I sigh loudly "Natsu no one can understand you"

"Hm, sowwy" he says swallowing "well I think we have to go now, we got to go find Igneel"

"Who's Igneel?" Lucy asks

"He's my dad" Natsu says "astrid's helping me look for him"

"Aw that's sweet" she says "what's he look like?"

"He's a dragon" he says "you haven't seen a dragon around here have you?"

"WHAT MADE YOU THINK A DRAGON WOULD BE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CITY?!" Lucy exclaims

Natsu and I look at each other for a moment then back to Lucy

"erm..."

Lucy sighs "okay I gotta go, see you around" she tosses money on the table, gets up and leaves.

"Thank you blondie!" I yell across the restaurant

Her face turns red as the entire restraint turns to stare at her. She pushes out of the restaurant without another word.

"You think we should go check out this yacht? I get the feeling something's not right" I say

"I do too..." He says finishing off his heap of food "we should go to, under cover"

"You want me to wear a dress don't you" I say flatly

Natsu nods "yeah yeah! Pleeeeasse"

I sigh "just for you Natsu... But you own me"

"What do you want from me?" Natsu says

"You're going on an extra job, alone. The reward money, is mine" I say

"For fuck's sake it's a dress!" Natsu exclaims

I roll my eyes "I don't have to go you know?"

"Fine. I'll do it, just make sure you beat up Gray for me" he says

"First off, I would do that anyway. Second, you don't tell me what to do"

"Whatever let's go" Natsu says leaving, I follow after
