Tight cuffs bind me to a wall. I struggle against a team of masked figure but to no avail, the needle goes into my arm. Pain course through me like my blood turned to razor blades. I screech out in agony.
"Astrid" My eyes fly open. It's just Natsu
"You okay...?" He asks
"Well... I am now" I say
"You were yelling again" he says
"Sorry I woke you..." I mutter
Natsu chuckles softly "it's fine I was up anyway"
Sure he was...
"Anyway, I'm going back to bed" he says heading back to his hammock
"Night" i say rolling over
"Night"
The rising sun wakes me up, it always does. Natsu on the other hand sleeps through everything, unless it's food then he can smell it a mile away.
I get up and go for a walk, I normally don't go out without Natsu but today I want some time to myself. I brought my knife with me anyway, no one could do anything to me.
I head to the coffee shop first, I need an iced latte and I need one now. The streets are oddly quiet, I should hurry before everyone wakes up.
I enter the coffee shop get my iced mocha, on the way out I see Erza in the bakery. I sneak past her, last time she made me carry her cakes for her, and I don't want that.
I make it back home to find Natsu still fast asleep. I groan loudly
"Natsu you're going to miss breakfa-"
"Wha-?" Natsu sits upright
"Come on we gotta go" I say,
"You got another coffee..." He says
"I like my coffee okay?" I snap
"Fine, I'm up give me a sec" Natsu looks around the room for his vest and shoes
"I'll be outside" I say walking outside
A few minutes later Natsu walks out of the house and we head down to the guild hall.
"Do we have money for food?" Natsu asks
"I think we have enough for the week... We'll have to take up some more jobs"
"Maybe we should take Luigi with us" Natsu says
"Who's Luigi?" I ask
"That blonde girl with the giant tits" Natsu says
"Oh her..." I say "Her name's Lucy not Luigi"
"I'm sure it's Luigi" Natsu insists
"Are though? Are you?" I ask
"Yes" he snaps
"Well then let's bet on it" I say
"If I'm right. You go without coffee, or chocolate for two weeks" he says
"That's unnecessarily harsh" I mutter
"Heard that"
"And if I win... I get to wear Igneel's scarf for two days"
Natsu stops in place "You cannot be serious"
"I am, is it a bet or not?" I ask extending and hand
"Fine." He says, we shake on it
We enter the guild hall. To no surprise, Gray's already there. And now he's walking over towards us
"Looks like firefly finally showed up" gray says staring down Natsu
"You know a guy who claims to be straight, you do seem to follow be around a lot" Natsu smirks
"You're one to talk, look at your hair" gray sneers
"Look at your lack of clothes" Natsu says
"Come on, what kind of guy lives with a girl but isn't dating her?" Gray says
"You know Astrid isn't into guys" Natsu says
"I'm sure I could change that," gray through me a look
"Oh fuck off" I say taking a step back
"I'm kidding calm your tits" gray says
"Go back to your stripper pole" I say dragging Natsu away with me
"Oh come on, I was winning that one!" Natsu whines
"We have jobs to do" I say
"Oh you guys are doing a job?" It's Lucy "look I have my guild mark"
"That's nice Luigi" Natsu says
"ITS LUCY!" She yells
""I fucking told you" I exclaim
"Told me what?" Natsu smirks slightly
I glare at him "you know damn well"
"Do I?" He says acting confused
"You're a bitch that's what your are." I say, I raise my voice "not just any old bitch, you're Gray's bitch"
"Oh... Oh." Natsu gives me a death glare
"What was that?!" Gray yells from across the guild hall
"You've done it now..." Natsu hisses
"Done what?" I ask, I sip from my mocha
"Nothing" Natsu rolls his eyes "go away Clamidiot" He snaps at Gray
"So can I come with you guys on a job?" Lucy asks
"Yeah we just need to find one..." Natsu says looking through the list of jobs
"You want me to take an S class one...?" I'm so quiet Natsu's the only who can hear me
