A New Life (adopted by the sidemen)

Everyone says that life is an amazing thing full of surprises and possibilities. That there is always a silver lining to a storm cloud you just gotta look hard enough. But that did not apply to me, all I saw was a dense fog that seemed to have no end. That is until one faithful day I was adopted by heroes who wore headphones instead of capes.

    Before I get ahead of myself and tell everything about my journey of being adopted, let me tell you about me. My name is Lux Rose and I am 17. I've been in the foster care system ever since I was 3 jumping to and from foster homes almost every year. I don't remember my biological parents since I was too young to remember. Every time I ask about them everyone says that it's better off if I didn't know or I'm too young to understand.

Some of my past foster homes have been complete and utter hell for me. Along the years I've developed a strong case of depression, anxiety, and an eating disorder due to the amount of abuse. This is also where my fear of angry shouting sprouted from. Despite that life at the moment is going well, my current foster mums are amazing. Mia and Brittney treat me as if I am one of their own.

On the lighter side of things I love reading/writing, playing ukulele and piano, singing, listening to Twenty One Pilots, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, and Panic! At The Disco, and last but not least I love watching 7 idiots play video games aka The Sidemen. Their videos kept me going even when I felt like the whole world was against me. They have inspired me in many ways and I honestly believe that I wouldn't be alive if it weren't for them. I always wished that I could meet them and just say thank for everything that they've done. Little did I know that my wish and so much more were about to come true.
