Ch. 6 The Truth

Lux's POV

*3 weeks later*

These past 3 weeks have been amazing with the boys. My room is completely decorated with furniture and what I like to call a cozy corner made out of a few bean bag chairs, pillows, and blankets. Josh bought me a banging desktop set up, a new laptop, and even an Iphone 6s. Not to mention he got me a new ukulele because my old one was almost 8 years old. Honestly he spoils me rotten.

Today was the day that we finally tell the fans about me via a football challenge. We were already on our way to the pitch but on the drive their my nerves started to kick in. What if the fans don't like me? What if I suck horribly at football compared to the guys? What if I make a fool out of myself?

"Stop worrying Lux, you'll be fine." Josh's voice pulled me out of my train of thoughts.

Staring at him like he's some sort of wizard I ask, "How did you know I was worrying?"

He smirks as he looks back into the rearview mirror at me, "My dad senses were tingling." This caused Simon to snicker to himself while mumbling something about Daddy Zerk and something else tingling.

Once we finally made it to the pitch I jumped out the car excitedly and grabbed my mint green duffle bag from the boot along with another bag that held camera equipment. I haven't played football in over a month so I was genuinely happy to be back out on the field.

"Anyone else joining or is it just us?" I asked referring to Vikk, JJ, Simon, Josh, and I. Setting down the bags next to the goal post we start to take out the equipment.

"Harry, Ethan, and Tobi are coming." Josh answered while slipping on his football boots, "You know of Lewis and the Cals right?" Once I nodded he continued, "They'll come a bit later for the other videos we need to record."

Nodding I plop myself down on the ground and switch into my mint green football boots. We spent the next 10 minutes setting up the cameras and tripods. Soon enough the rest of the sidemen joined us and we were ready to start the video. The boys all grouped up in front of the camera, while I crouched behind them in hiding.

"Hey guys! And welcome back to another football challenge video!" All the boys screamed in excitement as Josh continued his intro, "But we have an announcement!"

"Well more like you have an announcement Josh." Simon corrected.

"Right anyway, Imma just get right into it 3 weeks ago I adopted someone!" Josh shouted as the boys screamed again. Looking to the side of the pitch I see many people standing there just watching in confusion. "Who is it that I adopted you may ask!"

Instead of walking around them like a normal human being I decided to make a grand entrance. I launched myself over Vikk and Tobi but ended up falling to the ground unceremoniously. Sitting up I throw my hand into the air, "It's me!!" I screamed with a giggle glancing between the boys and the camera.

"Who the fuck are you?" Harry asked jokingly as I stood up.

"I am the one and only Lux Rose." I dusted myself off and waved at the camera, "Hello I guess?" I say not sure of what else to say.

"Lux's links will be in the description. Let's get straight into the video." Josh said as everyone dispersed. Simon grabbed a random ball then punted it straight at the goal but missed by a long shot causing us all to burst into laughter.

I never knew how much fun it would actually be to film a youtube video. Everyone was fucking around with each other and just having a great time play football. I was a bit shit granted I haven't played in forever.
