Blinding..

This light is blinding.. Ugh.. Please.. let me go, I just wanna go. Then I heard Alyn.

"This is not what it is only baby scars. I need your love, like a boy needs his mother's side..."
"Alyn?" I said weakly.
"Hay, oh my god.. You're awake!" He went to my side and grabbed my hand.
"Where's Hannah?" I tried opening my eyes to look around, but it was too bright.
"I'm right here. That's the medicine, baby, keep your eyes closed." She sounded really worried.
"Where am I?"
"The hospital."
"Why?!"
"They're doing tests. They think you have internal bleeding. Mom said you hit the wall so hard, you broke it."
"I wanna go home." When I said that, the door opened and a woman walked threw. She was middle aged, had black hair that ran down her back, with bright blue eyes.
"Hey, Doc, How is she?" I heard come from the other side of the room. It was Zak. Why is he still here?
"Well, she's better than we thought she would be. No bleeding, just minor bruising on the back. Have her take these and she'll be fine. We are gonna keep her for a few hours tho. Just so we can let the medicine run out of her system."
"Alright. We can do that." I heard Hannah grab the piece of paper, and put it in her pocket, I think. Then the door closed.

After a few minutes, I heard someone's stomach growl.
"You guys can go eat something. I'm not gonna get up for a while." I said with a sarcastic undertone.
"You sure?" Alyn and Hannah said at the same time.
"Yeah. Just bring me back a Diet Mountain Dew." I heard someone laugh quietly in the corner.
"No food?" Hannah said with hurt in her voice.

"No food."
"Okay, baby, we'll be back soon. I love you."
"Love you too, and you Alyn." I mustered up a smile.
"Love you more." Alyn said. You could hear the worry in his voice still.

The door closed and I heard shuffling from the corner, then footsteps towards the side of my bed.
"Hey." It was Zak.
"Hey. What are you doing here?" I said confused. He shouldn't have to stay here and watch over my pathetic self.
"You know, for someone who likes me, you, for certain, are not very grateful." He said. You could hear the smirk emerge onto his face.
"Like? You. Please." I started laughing. Which was something I never should have done. My back stung, and shot pains throughout my entire body. I guess I made a noise of pain, because the next thing I know, Zak was in the bed holding me, with his head leaning against the top of mine. I felt a tear run down my cheek and finally was able to open my eyes. Looking up, I saw his face. It was mangled with worry. He leaned down and kissed my forehead.
"Don't do that please." I said, barely audible.
"Why not." I tried pulling my legs closer to my chest, and failed.
"Can I tell you something?" Zaks chin was resting on my head, so I could feel him talking.
"I guess." He took a deep breathe and looked down at me.
"I think. Honestly. Maybe. I might actually like you." My heart dropped. I couldn't breathe. What?
"Why?" It was the first thing to come to mind. "Why me?"
"Because maybe, you're one of the most down to earth person I know."

When I finally got home, I just went to my room. I opened the door, and laying on my bed was a box. I walked to it and saw a note.
"The only way you can actually enjoy this band, is live."

I opened the box. In it was a pair of Rue 21 Skinny Jeans, a designer Star Wars shirt (you know, one of the kind that flow freely, that's longer in the back than in the front), and a pair of black Toms. In the bottom of the box, there was a envelope that had my name on it. I opened the envelope, I pulled out tickets. Tickets to the Of Mice & Men concert. For tomorrow. On the other side of the envelope was another letter.
"Tomorrow."
Tomorrow.
