⏰| F O R E V E R

It was a rather warm night in Ohio, the four camp counselors decided to take their kids and have a campfire. Tyler was going to bring his ukulele of course, they were going to sing and eat. Gabby dragged her kids to the campfire, for once Wellarose was awake enough to stay up an extra hour. There were 5 logs and 4 people sat on each. Everyone took their seats and enjoyed the calming sound of fire cackling and looked up at the stars. Tyler cleared his throat and began to speak. "Ahem, I would like to sing a snippet of a song I'm writing, called Taco Bell Saga." He said pulling the ukulele from behind me. "Why would you write a song about Tacos?" The 13 year old boy who scared gabby asked. "Why not, now shut up." Gabby snapped back as she folded her hands into her lap. Tyler strummed a quick note on his Ukulele and began to sing.

"BEEF!" He yelled, as Josh beatboxed in the background, Kate's cheeks a rose red. "AND CHEESE!" Tyler yelled as he nodded his head up and down. Kate thought this was going to be a romantic campfire, boy was she wrong. "BEEF AND CHEESE!" Tyler yelled again as Josh stomped his foot, Kate had a hand to her forehead. "BEEF AND CHEESE, YEAH!" He yelled again as Josh did the next line. "Beef and cheese in a taco shell!" He said not wanting to yell since he didn't want to embarrass himself anymore. Tyler began to pick up the pace on his ukulele. "Take that, it'll make you fat. We got the stuff that makes your booty go-" He made a fart noise with his mouth as everyone laughed and Gabby just wanted to make her boyfriend stop. "Take that, it'll make you fat. We got the stuff that makes your booty go bleh." Josh said this time wrapping an arm around Kate. She couldn't believe she was dragged into this by association. "B-Beef and cheese." Kate yelled as Josh gave her a thumbs up. "BEEF AND CHEESE!" Both Tyler and Josh yelled, Gabby didn't want to be singled out so she yelled. "AND SOME LETTUCE." She said changing her voice tone at the lettuce part. Now all four of the counselors were yelling. "BEEF AND CHEESE!" And then Tyler stood up throwing his arms in the air. "BEEF, BEEF AND CHEESE." He said Bowing as everyone clapped around him. Never did he expect to get praise for writing a song about Tacos.

After an hour of eating and singing songs like "We Are the Champions" and "Don't stop believing." it was time for the children to go and rest, especially Wellarose. They all walked off, the girls giving hugs real quick. Tyler laid down the ukulele and grabbed Gabby's hand, Josh and Kate already knew what he was doing but Gabby had no idea. "Tyler I'm still sore from last time." She said rolling her eyes. "No no not that." He said giving out a grin. He pulled a pocket knife out and pointed to the tree. Gabby's mouth shaped into an 'O'. She had to admit, that was pretty romantic of him, they walked over to the tree and carved the heart first into it. Tyler gave her the honor of carving her name first, it took her awhile but she finally did it. Tyler wrote the '+' and began to write his name, underneath a '2004'. Gabby looked at Tyler and grinned, she couldn't believe a boy could care so much about her. Then Tyler got down on one knee and she felt her heart beat very fast, she can't get married already?! She already lost her virginity, isn't that enough for him? Before she said anything Tyler put his finger up. "Ah." He pulled out a small black velvet box, and opened it to show two rings with "I will make you believe you are Lovely." Gabby could feel tears coming up as Tyler showed her the box. "I know I may be a wimp, and pretty sad. But you have given me that glint of light in my world of darkness, my depression may not be fully cured. But you've helped so so much, I want to promise to you that I will marry you in the future." He spoke as he took Gabby's ring out. "Do you accept?" He asked tilting his head. Gabby nodded fairly fast. "Y-Yes of course." She said her voice cracking with emotion, as Tyler slid the ring on and put his on. He pulled Gabby into a huge hug, pressing kisses all over her face as if she was a blank piece of paper and he was the artist. Gabby went on her tippy toes and planted a kiss on his lips, she felt incredibly happy as she couldn't stop shaking. "Tyler, I feel exactly the same way. I've dated a few dicks in the past, but I've never felt the same about anyway else. You make me really fucking happy...sorry but it's true, there's really no other way for me to put it." She said looking at the ring on her finger. Would she have a future with him? She really hoped, but she didn't want to become a burden for him in the future. But once Tyler planted a kiss on her cheek, she felt her cheeks turn a deep red of where he kisses her. "Don't worry about that for now, we'll be fine I promise." He said softly.

What did she ever do to deserve this?

As Kate looked over at the other couple exchanging Kisses she felt Josh grab something. As she looked over he was grabbing the ukulele, what was he doing? He strummed a note and took a deep breath. He was incredibly nervous, he was afraid his anxiety would take over as he sang.
"Somewhere, over the rainbow." Josh sang as he strummed the small guitar. Kate covered her mouth with her hand as she heard his voice, his voice was so soft and soothing. She almost felt as if she could melt. "Way up high, and the dreams that you dreamed of, once in a lullaby." He sang, trying to calm himself down. He didn't want to end up breaking down in nerves, he just wanted to make her happy. "Someday I'll wish upon a star, wake up where the clouds are far behind me,,,," He sang holding the final note. "Oh, somewhere over the rainbow bluebirds fly, and the dream that you dare to." He sang strumming his fingers as they felt numb. "Why, oh why, can't I..." He sang as he strummed the final note. Kate couldn't believe what she just heard, his voice had so much emotion and even though he was extremely shy. He still sang for her. "Josh.. That was beautiful." She said putting her hand on his shoulder. "No it wasn't, I'm not a good singer." He shook his head as he put the ukulele down. "Even though you don't believe that was amazing, I do." She put her hand on his cheek and turned his face towards her's. "I may not be the nicest girl, the prettiest, and even the strongest. But yet, you still make me feel like I am all those things. I-I love you, a lot." She admitted, she couldn't believe she was pouring her heart out to him right then and there. He sat there speechless as he gripped what he made for them in his back pocket. "Josh, I care for you so much. And I feel terrible for rejecting you all those times, you waited for me. I don't know what I did to deserve you, I'm nothing special at all." She said wiping her eyes, she was always told she cried too Easily, but at that moment she was crying happy tears for once.

"K-Kate I..." He stuttered as he bit his teeth. "I would never give up on you, I just had that gut feeling that I needed to be with you, even if it's not god's plan. Even though your dad dislikes me, it still doesn't change my view on you.." He said softly. "I love you too." He pulled out his gift, Which was a necklace that had a earth as a charm. "I-It's really cheesy, but it's because you mean the world to me, heh." He said getting all flustered as he scratched his cheek. He then reveled what was under his sweatshirt sleeve, on his wrist was a bracelet that also had a matching earth charm. "Sorry it's so cheesy.." He said softly. Kate pulled him into a hug and kisses him on the cheek.
