I walked into science again, taking my seat next to Danny. He looked over and me and smiled, like nothing happened last night. I didn't want it to be awkward so I smiled back.
"How'd the date go?" He asked, putting his arm around me and pulling me close to him. I grinned and shrugged, reaching up and grabbing his hand. He was smiling.
"It was good. A bit awkward but I think it will work!"
I smiled and noticed a flash of light brown hair walk into the class room. Before I knew it I was swiped out of my seat and Danny's arm fell to his side. I had been lifted off the ground some. I blushed and turned around, Sam's face only a few centimeters from mine and his green eyes locking with my chocolate brown ones. I giggled a bit and he set me down.
"Did I sweep you off your feet?" Sam said, smirking.
I blushed and bit my lip while I heard Danny clear his throat dramatically behind us, and I turned to find him rolling his eyes.
"Cheeesssyyy." He said, raising his eyebrows. I leaned over and hit his arm lightly.
"It was cute." I said, emphasizing the word cute.
Sam turned me back around and put his hands on my waist, leaning closer and whispering in my ear.
"So, me and you. I wanna make it official so I can brag to my friends."
I blushed and nodded my head slightly.
"Sounds good." Was all I could come up with. This has never happened to me before. It was kinda happening really fast. I wasn't sure if I liked it or not.
The bell rang and Sam kissed my forehead quickly before rushing over to his seat. I sat back down and waited for Danny to put his arm back. But he didn't. Instead he just faced forward and listened to the teacher.

I grabbed my lunch from my locker and headed down to the lunch room. I walked in and began heading to our normal table to sit with Danny and a few of his friends, but someone reached out and grabbed my arm. I turned and saw Sam.
"Sit with me today."
He said, patting the seat next to him. I looked over at the table and saw Danny looking at me questionably. One day couldn't hurt, right? I shrugged and sat down, setting my stuff down and began to listen into the conversation. I tried to join in here or there, but I didn't fit much. Sam had his arm around my shoulders but it weighed me down, and was a bit uncomfortable. Danny always had his so lightly around me. But I pushed away my thoughts. I was probably just nervous. I turned my head to wave at Danny but he wasn't at the table. I furrowed my eyebrows, and faced the table again.

I noticed Danny in the hallway after school and skipped over to him.
"Hey! Sorry about lunch. I felt bad saying no. I will sit with you tomorrow definitely."
"Sorry. I am sitting with Dafney tomorrow. And for the next few weeks."
I was a bit taken back by this. He was my ride home so we walked to his car. We rode home in silence.
