I took a bite of my sandwich. Its been a week since me and Danny stopped sitting together and I miss it. I miss him. We haven't talked much either. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to find a tall dark haired girl standing there. I looked up at her. I think her name was Evelynn.
"Hey. I am throwing a party. See you there?"
She raised her eyebrows and handed me a slip of paper that looked like it was typed out fast. I nodded and took it, smiling a thanks.
"Sure."
She nodded and walked away, handing out more slips. I wasn't a big party girl. I liked chilling out at home and watching movies. I didn't plan on going until Sam turned me towards him.
"You are my date to the party, right babe?"
He asked, holding my hand in his and grinning slightly.
"Of course." I said, as if it was obvious. There goes my movie night.
~Saturday night~
Me and Sam walked up to the party door. You could hear music booming from down the street, like a heard of elephants running. I adjusted my shirt some and pulled up my cuffed jeans as we walked in. We were immediately met by the smell of smoke and alcohol. I saw Danny and Dafney in the corner, one hand on her hip and the other holding a drink. Danny didn't drink. I looked away as Sam pulled me towards the kitchen. I reached into my pocket and pulled out a Aleve as I already had a headache. I looked around and spotted some water bottles in a cooler and grabbed one, opening it and popping the Aleve in my mouth and quickly swallowing it. Instant relief. Sam walked over to me with two drinks and I quickly shook my head.
"I don't drink."
"If you say so." He said and he quickly downed his drink and took a sip from the one that was supposed to be mine. I held back a look of disgust as he dragged me out to the dance floor. I loosened up a bit, moving my body as some other girls did. I wasn't used to this and was totally prepared to get a lot of weird looks.
About a hour later Sam had had a few more drinks and smelled like stale beer. He began grinding on me, and I pushed him away to go get more water. But he just pulled me back against him.
"Stop Sam." I said. He was clear drunk as fuck and his eyes look plastered over.
"Oh-comee on." He slurred, draping his arms around my neck.
I tried to push him off but he just held on tighter. I pushed against him again and fell backwards, falling against someone and toppling over on top of him. I turned around around and my eyes met sparkling blue ones.
Danny.
He stood up, bringing me with him as Sam stumbled over.
"Man. Its not cool to touch other peoples girls.." Sam slurred, pulling me back over to him.
"You're drunk. I will just take her home for you." Danny said, taking my arm and pulling me over to him again. But Sam flung his arm out, punching Danny.
"Fuck.." Danny said, holding his hand over the right side over his face.
"Sam. Stop!" I said and then faced Danny.
"Here. I will help."
Danny leaned over and whispered in my ear, "Lets just leave."
I nodded and we walked out to the car. Dafney ran outside and grabbed Danny's arm, but he just shook her off and kept walking.
"See you tomorrow Daf."
We got in his car and he drove to my house, and we walked up to my room quietly.
