Ciara Black's Point of View

It's been days or weeks since I moved here on London, and all I could say is that it was good. The week was smooth. But, Drew still hasn't contacted me since then. He always says that he's busy or he has something to do. Probably business. Thompson Industries can be a bit of a workaholic company. Since he was the next heir to their family's throne, Drew is quite enough occupied and pressured. I could not blame him. Blame their family's wealth and riches.

I let out a sigh. Seriously, Drew was pretty busy and I couldn't help but to wonder why. His ignorance was a bit unfair, and that made me want to cry. Ugh!

I shook my head in surrender. Maybe, he needs some time. I got up from my chair and ended a book I was reading, and decided to made my way to the garden for inspiration. I grabbed my sketch book and art materials since I wanted to draw something for the next page. Well, you see, I love art. Art and reading are my time-passing sessions.

As I made my way to the corridor, A maid gave me rose with a sweet smile on her face. I was about to ask her if it was from whom, but she ran away, leaving me dumbfounded. I scratched the back of my neck in confusion. Okay?

Still in curiosity, I still want to go to the garden to draw. I found myself in the living room. I encountered bright and weird smiles from the other maids. Each of them gave me roses as I made my path to the garden. I wanted to ask again if it was from whom by any chance but, sadly, they ran off and continued to do their chores. I was curious but, I can't help to excite to know this secret giver.

I smile played on my lips as I got to the pool area. I'm almost to the garden.

A maid, cleaning the pool, noticed me and suddenly smiled. She advanced on my direction and gave me a small pinky teddy bear. This time, I didn't ask to seek for the giver's name. I'm just excited to meet this guy or lady. She really knows how to excite me. I bet, this someone really knows me.

A tag hanged from the teddy's ear.

You're almost there - the Garden. Please, smile while expecting me to be there. I miss you badly .....

But, I'm already smiling, and I can't wait to see you at the garden, I replied mentally. I think, I have an idea about who this person is. A wider smile was displayed on my lips as I skipped happily towards the garden, holding the sketch materials, the roses and the teddy bear.

Two maids headed for me as I step closer to the gate of the garden. They unexpectedly blindfolded me as they guided me inside. Curiosity, excitement, and I can't help the erratical beating of my pumping organ. I bit my lower lip to avoid from squealing from delight.

They suddenly halted which made me stop. Okay, where are we? To my nervousness, my guides suddenly let go of my arms. I was still blindfolded and my heart beat louder. I could hardly breathe despite there were many plants around me. A gust of wind met my body and made me shiver from coldness. Okay, where exactly am I? I tightened my hold on the objects I'm carrying. Goodness, I'm really nervous.

Music suddenly filled the silent air. 'Best friend' by Jason Chen.

Wait! That's our theme song! That's mine and Drew's theme song for our best friendship.

I took off my blindfold to let my eyes see. My vision became bright and after in a few seconds, I was in tears. I covered my opened mouth from disbelief. I looked around in amusement. I covered my wet face from embarrassment as I wiped the tears. Could it be? If this was a dream, I would never wake up. I took a step backward as my emotions began to fill in my heart. I smiled weakly at the surprise.
