Dominance.

Chapter 2: Introducing Zelda

         "I'm waking up, I feel it in my bo-" Blares my alarm clock before I point my pinkie at it and it's hit  with a mini bolt of lightning. It soars across my room and into the ice white wall, Shattering into a trillion tiny pieces.

            Growling to myself I roll on my back and rub my eyes. I throw my feet over the side of my silky king sized bed and drop myself to the soft white carpet. I then feel something land lightly on my head. I reach up and pet the soft white ball of fur resting top my own snow white hair. "Good morning Azeil." I say with a groggy voice. Azeil mews back softly dropping to the floor and looking up at me with his different colored eyes. One as blue as the sky on a cloudless day and the other as gold as the quick strike of lightning on a stormy night. He mews again and runs off to take a nap before he accompanies me to school.

             I pad across my room to my walk in closet and put on a silver tank top under my favorite leather jacket with my gamertag acroos the back "LittleLightningZ" along with some black leggings with silver studs down the sides, and to finish off my look I throw on black combat boots. I walk to my bathroom now more awake and brush my teeth and comb my waist length, wavy, snow white hair. I asses my look staring at my gold eyes. "Ready for school" I mutter to myself running out of my room and down the stairs.

               "Good morning Zelda" My dad, Zeus, greets with a smile kissing me on the cheek. 

             "Goodmoring dad" I give him a big hug. I turn to the dinner table and muster up my best fake smile, "Good morning Hera." I grab a plate of eggs and sit down as far away from her as possible.

             Hera looks at me with a sour expression. "I would prefer if you called me mother, sweetie" she says back with a fake sweetness to her voice as she takes a drink of her wine.

               Ignoring her I grab a bowl and some oreos, I put a row of oreos in the bowl with some milk and nom it quickly. Dropping the spoon and bowl in the sink I call for my cat. "AZEIL! TIME FOR SCHOOL!" I yell and see the white fur ball sprint down the stairs and jump on my shoulder. 

               I grab my xbox themed bag off the floor, "Bye daddy!" I chirp and kiss him on the cheek, making my way to the portal. Stepping into the blue light I let the cool feeling calm me. I look up at my school. The School for Gifted Godlings, a school for highly gifted half-bloods and the few of us that have two immortal parents. 

                 "Zelda!" I hear a high pitched voice scream as I'm tackled to the ground. I look at my crazy bestfrind, Mel, an Aphrodite's daughter, and we both burst out laughing. The two of us rolling around on the grass, barley able to breathe. Mel was beautiful, being an Aphrodite's daughter. She had chocolate brown, waist length hair. Her eyes were the same sky blue as Azeil's. Whom was pacing around us.

                    We slowly get up from the grass and walk into the school. As we wind our way through the halls of the castle people wave and bow to me, greeting my with genuine smiles. To say I was popular at this school was an understatement. Everyone loved me as they loved my father, well, except for Kali, Mel's half sister. Kali was a real nincompoop. She was beautiful, but if you saw her soul, you would throw up. We glared at each other as Mel and I made our way to the game room.

                    We talked for a minute before sitting down, grabbing our controllers, and started kicking butt. We played for a while before heading to class. I saw my favorite cousin, Zara and smiled lightly to her as she gave me a small nod and continued walking. 

                       Mel bid me a goodbye and walked off, obviously skipping class again. I walked in and took a seat next to my beautiful cousin Zara. She glanced at me and I smiled bright to her but she turned before she saw. How I wish it were like old times, when we played for hours as little girls.

                    The ancient teacher started his lesson just as my crush walked in. My crush, his name is Ryder, son of Poseidon and Aphrodite. He winked at me with his cute, ocean blue eyes. I blushed a bright red. His sandy blonde hair bouncing a bit as he sat down. I listened to the teacher drag on and on, almost falling asleep a number of times. 

                   Finally the class was over and I turned to see Ryder with his hand held out to me. "Walk with me?" He asked with a smile.

                   "Of course" I smile and we grab hands and start walking. All the sudden we hear a siren. I turn to Ryder, smiling even brighter. I let go of his hand and skip to the challenge area behind the school. 

                  The headmaster, Mr. Frey, an older man with slightly graying hair and black eyes, he starts talking into a mic. putting the students into teams depending on their godly parent. We were playing capture the flag. I giggled as I noticed how unfair the teams were. My team was made up of the children of Zeus, Hades, Aphrodite, Apollo, and Athena children. People with two immortal parents could choose which parent for their team. I wanted to stay with Mel and Zara so I choose my favorite parent, and because I hate my mom, Hera. 

                     There were loud complaints from the other team when they saw what they were against. Ryder choose to use his mom, Aphrodite, so he could be on the team with me and Mel. Azeil looks at me and mews. Oh, and Azeil. He runs off and I see him and 

                   As the crowd of the other team got louder with complaints Mr. Frey turned and glared at them, shutting them up. I look around me at the faces of all my companions and smirk. This will be easy.
