Just look down and walk, maybe you will get there without him noticing. 

"Hey Mia, how are you?" He rests his arm up against the brick wall which stood beside me and looked down at me smirking. 

"So much better now that you're here," I sarcastically stated as I duck under his arm and turning the corner. Hurrying my pace as I walk towards the pitch which was right in front of me now. Then I start to hear soft running come up behind me. 

"Seriously Hunter what do you want? Can you not see I have to go to training. You always stop me and I always end up late, so please just piss off for once."

"Sorry babe but you know I just love you too much to do so," He says in a dramatic sad way, throwing his hand up to his forehand. I shake my head and laugh slightly glancing down at the ground. 

I say goodbye to my brothers best friend and continue to walk towards the soccer pitch, I see everyone training already and groan internally. I'm in so much shit....

I put my bag down and quickly put my studded boots on running onto the grass. I pass the boys team who don't even acknowledge me and run towards the girls, aka some of my best, and only friends. 

My coach, Peter, turns around and sees me. He then looks at his watch and back up at me, I tried to use the same excuse I always do with Hunter, but after all, he doesn't believe me considering this happens almost every week. I start kicking the ball around with Ellie and Alyssa, they are probably my two bestest friends on the team. But my eyes kept on travelling over to the boys team, there seems to be a new guy on their team. I tap Ellie who was next to me.

"Who's that?" I say and point to this new guy, not particularly looking at the new guy though. I was looking at the guy next to him, but I don't want them to know that so, anyways back to this new kid.

"That is Chris, he transferred here last week. He seems nice. But I've already called dibs on him isN'T THAT RIGHT ALYSSA?" Ellie says, screaming the last part in my ear. I just laughed and shook my head. He isn't the one I was particularly looking at anyways. 

I continue to watch who I had my eye on before, I watch as he juggles at ball throwing his head back in laughter when he misses the ball and watches it fall onto the ground. I smile knowing how happy this sport can make someone. His smile could light up anyones day, but lately he hasn't been smiling as much. 

"OUCH!" I scream as all the attention gets turned to me, as the ball that came flying into my head flies onto the ground and slowly stops bouncing.  

"SORRY MIA I DIDN'T MEAN THAT IM SO SO SORRY,' Gen yells. Of course it was Gen, that clumsy little shit. I laugh and just do thumbs up at her, she may not have the best skills but she is the fastest runner on our team and we all love her to bits. 

All the girls laugh and we take a moment before getting back into drills. We get put into pairs and the pairs where as followed:

Ellie & Bridget, Alyssa & Gen, Bri & Kaia, Mia & Bianca, Lucy & Taylah, Mim & Arianna. 

Oh yeah meet my team, aren't we just cool.

Bianca and I started to work on skills so we went over everything and worked more on places we needed experience. But I just couldn't take my eyes off him.
