Just The Beginning | Jakob Delgado

It was finally the weekend and Jakob was planning on taking me on a mini date today. We were gonna go and do something small and fun so next week can be the actual date which we are planning to go to the Royal Melbourne Show. 

Jakob had planned today for us to go ice skating at a little place just for the lols. And we were also going to go out for lunch before hand, at a cute little restaurant next door. 

He picked me up at around 10:30 and Leanne drove us straight to the rink. 

"Miaaaaaaaa," Jakob whined. I look at him and roll my eyes as he struggles just to get the skate on. I start laughing and quickly put mine on before rolling over to him and helping him finish put his on. I step onto the ice and glide around a bit before I see him still standing at the gate staring at the ice in shock. "Oh don't tell me you have never ice skated before?" I say.

"Nope and I never thought you would have but it seems so." He grips onto the rail even harder. I can't help but laugh. I hear him puff and I look at him with a huge grin to see him pouting. A smile is stuck on my face as I grab his hand and roll him onto the ice. He wobbles a bit but manages to stay up.

"See you're a natural!" I smile and let go of his hands. He looks down and attempts to keep his balance. "Well I guess I am," Jakob pretends to flip his hair, almost falling over. Laughing, I grab his cold hand from holding onto the railing, and pull him closer to me. "Okay now I will step back a bit and you will roll yourself over to me, yeah?" He nods slowly as I turn around and skate a bit further away. 

He looks at me and I nod. He slides one foot forward and loses his balance a bit but steadies his posture. He slides the next foot forward and bits his lip in concentration. I smile at how cute he is and when he looks up at me and tries and quickly as possible to 'run' to me in them. My eyes widen as he makes it to me before falling into me. He grabs my shoulders and takes both of us down. 

We both start laughing as much as we can before he starts complaining that the floor is cold. "Well no shit Jakob considering it's ice!" I say and push him so he is laying down. He starts singing at the top of his lungs, "NOW IM LYING ON THE COLD HARD GROUND AHHHHH AHHHH". I quickly shove my hand over his mouth to shut him up. 

Jakob glares at me before licking my hand. I still keep it there are smirk at him. 

I help him up off the ground and we finished up with our "Teach Jakob to Skate" lessons. He was a lot better. Or maybe it's because I'm just succchhhh a great teacher.

We were just skating around the edges together. Jakob was still a bit wobbly but a lot better than before. He had only fallen over 4 times which is quite good for a beginner. 

After that we decided it is time for some lunch. I was starving. I slowly take my skates off trying whilst Jakob takes his back up to the counter, he comes back and I hold mine up to him with a cheeky grin. "Pleeaaasseeeeeeeeee," I beg just because I can't be bothered walking over there myself. 

'Burgers INC' is what the place was called. Apparently they had amazing burgers and fries and I had never really been here before so Jakob said I had to try it. I order the original burger just to keep it simple first. Oh and I got a bowl of fries oops. 

Jakob demolishes the burger and fries in under 5 minutes. I look at him in disgust and he just has a massive grin of accomplishment. I still had the whole bowl of fries left and Jakobs eyes travel from me, to the bowl. I laugh at how hungry he always is and push my bowl towards him.

The burger was actually really good and it made me feel like I could not eat for the next week. Once he had finished my fries we decided to go to the beach and just sit on the sand for a bit until Leanne came. 

I lay my head on his shoulder as he attempted to build a sandcastle. "stOP MOVING YOUR ARM IM TRYING TO BE CUTE AND YOU AREN'T HELPING!!" I punch his arm softly. 

"But sandcastles..." I sit up and look at him. I decide its a great time to lay on top of his sandcastle instead. "YOU MURDERED SANDY!!" He yells. I hear a beeping sound in the background and I look over to see Leanne's car and her beeping the horn to tell us she is here. "Help me up," I hold my hands out for him. He pulls me up and snakes his arm around my waist as we walk over to the car, kissing me on the forehead.
