Just The Beginning | Jakob Delgado

I walked into school with a massive smile on my face. Let's hope that everything with Jakob that happened was not only a one time thing. I skipped down the hallway and quickly opened my locker whilst grabbing my books for Period 1 and 2, then walked into homeroom. 

I sat in my usual seat next to Macy, aka my homeroom buddy, and we talking and laughed for a bit. There was about 5 mins until homeroom started and everyone was already here and sitting down, except one. Jakob. 

Just at the moment the door opened and I looked up to see who it was. I watched the door open completely as I watch him walk in. By him I mean the teacher because it wasn't Jakob that walked in ffs. I bit my lip and looked back down at my desk. Is he even going to come today?

We caught up on everything we needed to in homeroom but then it was time to head to our period 1 class. I had music.

I walked out of homeroom to see Jakob standing at his locker getting his books. I look at him and in that moment he looked up and saw me staring.

"Hey Mia, wait up! We will walk to music together," He smirked and looked at me. I laughed and then slowly started walking to wards his locker. I leant up again the one next to his and waited for him to finish putting his bag away and getting all his music books.

We head to music and it is really nice to just be able to have someone to chat to and laugh with someone that isn't one of the girls or Ethan. 

"Hey you should come with me to the game on Sunday!" Jakob says and looks at me with hopeful eyes. 

"The wanderers match?" I question, thats the only team I can think of playing on Sunday because all of our teams play on Saturday.

"Yeah, it would be fun. My family have memberships and you can take my sisters," He says and smiles at me. I agree to come and tell him I will ask my mum tonight. I stg if mum says no I'm not gonna be happy.

I have always been a fan of wanderers but have never had the chance to go to one of their matches. I am so excited. I tell him that I will text him tonight when mum gives me a response. We finally reach the music room and walk in taking our seats.

I sit at home on my bed as I hear the front door open. YES MUMS HOME. I run across the house and stand right next to her as she takes her shoes off.

"What do you want?" She looks at me knowing I was going to ask for something. I smile.

"Welllllll, I was wondering if I could go to the wanderers match on Sunday. My friend has asked me to go with them and they have a spare membership so you don't have to pay! Pretty pretty please!" I say with my hands together begging her.

"Which friend?" I freeze and bit my lip. Why did she have to ask.

"Umm Jakob from school, he is best friends with Ethan!" I say as I know mum loves Ethan so if I say that she might let me. In the end she agrees I can go but wants to meet his parents when they pick me up, so that she knows that they are nice people.

I thank her and run back to my room. I quickly grab my phone and put my fingerprint in to text Jakob. I click the green little messages app.

Mia (:                                                                                                                                    Mum said I can come!! But she wants one of your parents to come to the door first so she can know who I am going with ahahahah

Jakob                                                                                                                               Cool, I will let my parents know and we will pick you up then! See you in two days ;)

I laugh and put my phone back down. Only two days. Cmon Mia. 

I lay back on my bed smiling to myself.

ITS SUNDAY ITS SUNDAY ITS SUNDAY. I run around my room after just waking up. I couldn't help it. I am more excited about the actual game than seeing Jakob. It is just a bonus that he is going to be there. 

It was now 11am. I know I wake up late. And they were arriving at 1pm. So I only have two hours to get ready. Lord help me.

I mean I still have to shower, figure out what I'm wearing, do my hair, my makeup, then put on what I'm wearing and then sit there for like half an hour contemplating wether or not to change what I'm wearing. And then he will come and I won't have time to so I will just run out the door forgetting something. shIT I JUST WASTED LIKE 10 MINS THINKING ABOUT THIS STUFF.

I quickly got ready and put on my outfit. I decided I was going to wear a plain white shirt with blue high waisted jeans and then my adidas superstars. I smiled at how I looked and then checked the time. 

12:30 YO WAIT WHAT NO NAH HOW WHAT NOPE IM NOT READY

I only have half an hour and I haven't even begun to straighten my hair. lol jokes my hair is already straight hA poor some of u that take 3 hours to straighten ur hair. I laugh at my own thoughts and continue to look for some earrings.

I finally find a plain black pair and put them in. Then the door bell went off. SHIT. 

When I start walking towards the front door I look at myself in the hallway mirror. I see my mum and Jakobs mum, Leanne, talking at the door. 

"Bye Sweetheart," my mum says whilst kissing my head and shooing me out the door. I say goodbye and then start walking towards the car. I can see Jakob sitting in the back by himself and his dad in the drivers seat. 

I open the car door and slide in next to him.

"Hey"

"Hey," I look down shyly.

Sorry it has been a while, I have had school camp! But I am back and sorry it is short, I will try update again tomorrow night! I won't get time to on Wednesday as it is out school formal but I will see what I can do.
