Just The Beginning | Jakob Delgado

I walked through school with a big smile on my face. Even though I was not able to go to the after party with all the girls after we won the semi finals, Jakob made my night at home 10 times better. He was planning on taking me to the Royal Melbourne Show this weekend which is like a big carnival for anyone to attend. I have never actually been to one of it would be so exciting! 

Wandering the halls I stop past Ellie's locker and lean against it. She looks at me and rolls her eyes with a smirk on her face, "what happened?"

"Jakob asked me on a date!" Her eyes widened and she grabbed my arms in excitement. "We should go on a double date, me, you, Chris and Jakob!" She jumped up and down.

oh yeah did i forget to tell you guys, chris and ellie are officially dating now. its pre cute

I laughed and pushed her slightly. We said goodbye and I skipped down to class, my first class I had with Jakob so he met me at my locker. 

We hugged hello and had a quick conversation before heading off to our class. We sat in our normal seats this time and as usual it was just him complaining the whole lesson and me sitting there not wanting to do work so I listened to music the whole time to block out the teacher and Jakobs complaining.

I blast Car Radio by TOP in my earphones and Jakob looks up at me hearing the song. He smiles and grabs one of my earphones. I shake my head and laugh as he shoves the earphone into his ear. We both low-key jam out to TOP the whole lesson. 

Are the whole 50 minute lesson is up we both part ways until lunch.

I sit under a tree at lunch and wait for everyone else to show up. It was a really nice day today and I was eating my lunch whilst watching a group of young boys run around and throw tennis balls at each other. It was pretty entertaining to watch. 

As I was sitting there watching someone came up behind me and grabbed my shoulders, I scream.

"God damn it you scared me!" I turned around to see Ethan with Chris and Ellie standing behind him laughing. I hit him in the leg and hide my face. 

Jakob walks up slowly and sits down next to me, "awww what did he do this time." He says rubbing my back whilst looking at Ethan and laughing. I look up at him and pout at him. 

"AWW YOU TWO ARE SO CUTE!" Ellie yells trying to get her phone out and get a picture. Jakob quickly takes his hand off my back and I scoot away a bit. She frowns and looks at Chris. 

They all finally sit down, and we are all just chatting. Ellie looks through her phone to see if she actually got any good pics of Jakob and I. She smiles and turns her phone towards Chris who aww's at whatever was on the screen. She shows me and it is a photo of Jakob rubbing my back whilst I was looking up at him and pouting. I laugh and put my head in my hands. 

Jakob looks at Ellie and mouths 'send that to me'. She nods and quickly starts typing on her phone. 

We all just sit on the grass for a bit and have some good laughs. Alyssa came and joined us and Ethan got really awkward all of a sudden. 

Just as the bell is about to go we all stand up and decide to go and join Mim, Vlado, Alex, Bianca and Lucy. 

I know that Jakob and Alex do not like each other very much but I am good friends with Alex and I don't even know what Jakob and I are at the moment. But Alex gave me a small smile as we walked closer and Jakob glared at him. 

A few moment later the bell went off. The two couples (Mim and Vlado, Ellie and Chris) all do their kissy lovely lovely stuff goodbye before heading off to class whilst the rest of us all wander off to our next classes. 

Jakob stops me and pulls me closer, wrapping his arm around my neck. I smile and we chat and laugh, just the two of us, on our way to class. It was nice.

it will get juicy more later. I'm just trying not to make it a cliche one where they date in the first chapter, and by the fifth they are already married okAy cool thx
