10: Protection

*Ashton's POV*

I'm sat in the hospital still, between Alysha and Calum, waiting for Michael to get back from Thomine so us others can visit her if we want.
I saw in the corner of my eye Alysha was looking at me, or past me, I don't quite know, but I don't bother worrying. She's under alot of pressure, and I don't wanna cause more.
"Why?" she said after a while of silence.
"Huh?" I ask, turning to face her.
"You bullied her. Why?" she says.
"Oh, yeah... I was hanging with Cal, and he was a member of Luke's gang and I just wanted to be with my mate. Luke said that if I wanted to be with Cal, I had to do as he said. I didn't know what I was getting myself into, but I realise now and I'm so sorry," I explain and tear up.
"No, Ash, don't cry," Alysha coo and side hug me.
"I know how you feel. I did the same once, to Frank, my mate. He is obsessed with me now and won't leave me alone, but I'm aimed at someone else."
"Who?" I sniff.
"Ummmh...." she start stuttering.
I suddenly realise.
"You weren't looking at me, you..." I smirk at her and turn my head towards Calum closer to the end of my sentence.
I kept my smirk at her as I signalise to tell him.
"No, please don't," Alysha says.
"Cal," I smirk and pick his shoulder.
"Hm?" he mumble.
"You paying attantion?" I ask.
"What is it?" he grumble.
"Are you tired? Do you wanma go home, or do you wanna meet her?" I say.
"Same shit, I don't care," he grumble.
"Rude," I say and turn back to Alysha.
"Don't worry, your secret is safe with me," I smile her her.
"I just don't know what you see in him. To me, he is a prick," I say.
"If he's a prick, why are you hanging with him?" she smirk.
"Damit.. I don't know. I just, he's my mate and pretty much the only one during my entire life and I don't wanna let go of him. But I still don't understand why you wanna date him?" I say.
"What?" Calum snore behind me.
"Are you talking about me?"
Alysha give me a death glare as I turn around to Cal.
"No," I say.
"Bro, I'm the only one that have been by your side your entire life, you have no one but me. Alysha, do you fancy me?" he say.
"Ashton! You talk to fucking loud!!" Alysha yelled at me and ran away.
"Dude, not cool" Cal said and ran after her.
"This isn't my fault?" I whisper to myself as I put my knees to my chest and start crying.
Another fuckup, great.
