Detention

Detention at the end of the day was fun....actually I lied.
Scraping chewing gum from under the desk was lovely!

"Isn't this what cleaners are for?" Georgia asked Cora. "Just without the ruler"
"You're lucky I'm not hitting you over the head with it, you absolute idiot" The woman threatened.
"Don't speak to her like that" I sat up to give Cora an angry look.

My aunt smirked as she walked up to my sister, purple light dancing in her hand.

"You think it's okay, don't you Georgie?" She asked with a devilish smile and I glared at her.
"It's Georgia" I said.
"No" My sister cut me off. "Don't worry. Leave it"
Cora laughed. "These tables aren't going to clean themselves"
"Cora......" I said and raised a hand as if to tame a wild animal. "Don't you dare do anything to her...." I whispered and stood up, prepared to do something to protect Georgia if needed.

I knew Cora probably wouldn't do anything, but when it comes to my sister, I don't want to take any risks. And the purple light was still in the woman's hand.

"Don't worry your little head" Cora mocked. "I'm not going to hurt your sister unless she does as she's told"

I glanced over at Georgia and tried to tell her with my eyes not to mess this up, but I don't know if she cared.

"Okay" I sighed but didn't sit back down just yet.

Georgia sat with her legs crossed next to me, looking narcissistically at her nails.

"Georgia" I said to my sister silently and looked nervously at Cora.
"Shut up Chloe. You're bear annoying" She rolled her eyes.
"Okay fine. Whatever" I rolled my eyes as well.
"Both of you are little brats, did I ever tell you that?" Cora said.
"You've mentioned it" Georgia smirked.
"Yeah. I think you've said it a couple of times. I can't really remember" I smiled.
"I'm getting Dolores in here, she has some interesting news about you from earlier today" Cora said and I suddenly got very nervous and me and Georgia exchanged confused looks.
"She has?" I asked.

Cora didn't reply and we heard a pop and that pink Umbrige woman appeared. I stared at her and hoped that she wouldn't tell Cora even though I knew she would.

"Cora, how lovely to see you" She said in a sugary voice.

I glared at her. How could she sound like that when she was here to punish us?

"These girls did awfully in their classes this morning" Umbrige said and I found myself sighing in relief.

Cora glared at us before looking back at Umbrige.

"Yes?"
"They did so unbelievably bad that the teachers didn't even want to mark them in, deeming it was a waste of time....Do you mind if I talk to the girls for a minute, Cora?" She smiled.

Cora raised an eyebrow before walking out the door.

"You girls better think yourselves lucky I didn't tell her. Count it as a favour. One you will have to repay" Umbridge said.
"What do yo want?" I asked her.
"Get me her wand" She smiled. "She has lots but you need to find the dark purple one with roots"
"Excuse me? Why would you want her wand? I didn't even know she had one!" I said a little confused.
"My business" She snapped. "Get it or I will make sure you know exactly what I am capable of"

I raised an eyebrow and rolled my eyes, not thinking this lady could do much harm. She haven't done anything bad yet even though she's had some opportunities.
She pulled out a wand and pointed it at my sister.

"Crucio" She said clearly.

I saw my sister curl into a ball and stretch out her body on the floor while screaming loudly. I could see the pain in her eyes and how much she suffered.

"Stop it!" I screamed.
"You get me that wand" And with a loud pop she disappeared.

I ran up to Georgia and hugged her tightly when Cora came back in. My sister could barely move and tears rolled down her face.

"What happened here?" She asked.
"This is your fault!" I yelled as I held Georgia's body closer to me. "Your friend hurt her!"
"Just get out of my office, I have more important things to do" She sighed.
"Are you okay?" I asked Georgia which she obviously wasn't. "Can you stand up?"
"Fuck no"

I looked up at Cora.

"I want to kill that sugar lady idiot!" I said angrily. "Can you help?" I asked Cora and gestured towards Georgia's body.

The woman waved her hand and we were in our dorm. I put my sister on her bed.

"So what about that wand?" I asked.
"You think we'll get it after that?" Georgia snapped.
"Yes? We have to. I don't want yo to get hurt again" I said.
"Chloe, I-I need to sleep" She yawned.
"Okay. I'm going to get some air, think things through" And with that, I left the room.
