"Hello, I'm Sookie" A waitress said. "Do you want a seat?"
"Yes please" I said gratefully and smiled at the blonde in front of me before she led us to a table and we sat down.
"Thanks" I said and she handed us the menues and left our table.
"Okay, but how are we supposed to pay?" Georgia asked.
"Um..." I said, thinking. "Maybe we could work for the food?"
"Well, we better tell the waitress before we order food" She said. When I saw the blonde waitress again I waved her over to our table.
"Um, Sookie, was it?" I asked and she nodded. "Me and my sister have, um, a tiny problem....we- we don't have any money, but we need some food cause we haven't eaten since yesterday. So we were wondering if we could come up with some sort of solution?" I explained and smiled innocently at the woman.
"You're thinking that you can work for it?" She asked and I looked shocked at her.
"Yeah" I said and bit my lip. "How did you know?"
"Lucky guess" Sookie shrugged. "Don't worry, I'll check with my boss, okay"
"Thanks" I said and watched the waitress as she disappeared around the corner. When I looked out of the window I got a little worried. Darkness had fallen and I looked over at Georgia to see if she had noticed that as well.
"Shit" She had definitely noticed. "Maybe she won't know where we are"
"She said she'd always know where you are!" I said.
"If I was scared" My sister replied.
"Yeah, right...don't be scared" I smiled and Sookie walked up to our table again.
"Reassuring" Georgia said worriedly.
"I am so sorry, girls...Sam said you couldn't work for the food" Sookie said with a sympathetic voice. "But don't worry, I'll pay for it" She smiled kindly.
"Thanks" Georgia smiled back, still watching the door though and Sookie noticed.
"Can I help you with anything else?" She asked, looking at Georgia.
"Got any garlic?" My sister laughed.
"Having trouble with vampires?" Sookie asked.
"Well, this woman vampire's after us" Georgia sighed.
"You know, garlic won't help" Sookie said. "Can I ask you something?"
"Sure"
"This vampire don't so happen to be Pam?" She asked.
"What? You know her?" Georgia asked surprised.
"We've met" Sookie shrugged.
"Unfortunate you" Georgia said.
"Yeah, well, you really shouldn't be here if you wanna avoid her. It's pretty obvious you'd go here" The woman explained and looked towards the door now too.
"We'll just get food and go if that's okay then" Georgia said.
"Yes, of course" Sookie looked back at us again. "What can I get you?"
"I'll have a burger and coke, please" My sister replied.
"Okay, and you?" The waitress asked me.
"Same, please" I smiled.Sookie disappeared through the bar as the door opened. I quickly turned my head around to see who came in. Pam walked casually to our table and sat down.
"We- uh, we looked for food but we couldn't find any so we walked here" Georgia said.
"Yeah, we didn't have any money though" I tried to smile and look relaxed but didn't think it worked. "How did you know where we were?"
"I told you I'd know where you were if you were scared" Pam replied.
"Damn it" I said under my breath and glared at my sister before looking down at the table.
"Not my fault you didn't blast her away fast enough" Georgia snapped.
"So now this is my fault?" I asked annoyed.
"Well don't blame it on me"
"You could have tried to keep calm while here. What were you so afraid of?" I glared at her.
"Where's the food?" Georgia changed the subject again, never letting herself look weak in front of people.I rolled my eyes and looked around. Sookie suddenly appeared with two plates in her hands and the coke.
"There" I said to Georgia.
"Oh, hi- Pam" Sookie smiled.
"Hi" The vampire said. "These girls are going to eat their food and go"
"Pam, are you sure you need them to whatever you're planning?" Sookie frowned.
"I'm pretty sure" She replied.
"But they are so yong. What could you possibly want with them?" The waitress asked.
"It's none of yor business, Tinkerbell" Pam said.Sookie just glared at her and put the food on the table.
"I just hope that they aren't any of your so called entertaining toys" The woman spat.
"This one is" Pam put her hand on my sister's shoulder and I stared at her.
"Don't you dare touch her" I said.Pam laughed and gave some money to Sookie.
"That's for the food. Now, hurry up and finish"
I stuffed my mouth full and saw that Sookie unwillingly took the money and walked away. When I was done I sighed loudly.
"We're not coming with you, Pam" I said.
"Well, then I'll just take you back to the school then" She shrugged. "If you won't help Eric"
"I don't understand" I frowned and thought for a second. "Maybe the school was better...there were no vampires there anyway"
"Wait, just please" Pam sighed. "Help me get my maker back"
"You really need us, don't you?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Don't question the bond between a maker and their progeny" She said.
"I didn't" I smiled and drank some coke.
"Hurry up. I'd like to get to Fangtasia before the sun actually rises." Pam said and I rolled my eyes and looked up at her.
"Fine" I then said and stood up.
