All Night Moonlight - Who To Love?

Breakfast (Chapter 2)

I skipped down the stairs, once halfway I sat on the railing and slid to the bottom, hooking my hand on the railing at the bottom and flinging myself into the direction of the hotel's breakfast. I heard Cashel and Ladaysha "woo"ing and cheering from behind me. 

As they made their way into the room, I stood from my chair and bowed. 

"What a performance," Cashel laughed.

Ladaysha and I both laughed with her and took our seats again. I took my side of the booth alone, Cashel and Ladaysha sitting next to each other. We agreed upon this arrangement because Cashel and Ladaysha used to argue about who got to sit next to me. It was flattering but also extremely pointless.

I smiled at them both when they picked up their menus and started pointing at things and deciding what they were going to have together. 

I might have smiled for a little too long, just because it was a nice sight to see because Cashel interrupted my little moment.

"You okay, Ally?" 

I chuckled quietly, "Yeah, I'm fine."

She normally wouldn't have accepted that as an answer, but she could tell it was sincere so she just nodded.

The waitress came over and asked us if we wanted anything to drink.

"I'll have a Cafe au Lait," Cashel spoke with confidence, seeing as she's ordered this a million times before.

"Um.." Ladaysha thought for a second, still not having quite decide, "I'll take the same thing actually, thanks."

"I'll just have a water," I smiled. "Sorry to ruin the whole ordering identical drinks thing," I chuckled.

She stood there for a second, staring but trying to be polite about it.

"Are you alright, miss?" I questioned cautiously.

"Oh my god!" She spoke quietly, as if not to bring attention to us, "You're All Night Moonlight!"

"That's us!" I tried to make sure she understood that we'd prefer not to draw attention to ourselves with hand motions.

She nodded, "Your meal is on me."

"No, I can't let you do that," I smiled but shook my head.

"Come on, I have to, you're ANM," She chuckled.

"Well, if you're paying for it, you're using money that I give you to pay for it," I chuckled as I started to pull out my wallet.

She swatted at my hand, which I didn't let stop me. I pulled out a hundred dollar bill and put it in her pocket. 

"Keep the change."

Her eyes widened, "Really? Thank you so much!"

She bent down and pecked my cheek. Unsure at first she awaited a reaction from me, to which I only could smile.

"You guys ready to order then?"

We all nodded and began to order.
