"Hey, wake up darling! We've got the audition today!"
Ugh.. How much did I drink last night? I sat up slowly, my head pounding. I was unable to think clearly and I could only make out a small grunt in response.
I could hear Ally chuckling from the other side of the door which always filled me with such joy and hope. She didn't laugh as often as she used to now a days.. She's gotten so caught up in work..
I shook the thought from my head feeling every ray of light burning in my eyes and pounding in my head.
I stumbled to the door and opened it. After checking to make sure no one else was there I slumped against the door frame.
"Aren't you up and ready to go?" Ally smiled, it was sincere and almost said "I'm sorry" in their own way.
"Wait a minute.." I chuckled, letting my head roll a bit and then meeting Ally's eyes. She looked confused but sincere. "Weren't you drinking too, birthday girl?"
Ally glanced down and bit her lip.
God that kills me.
She looked back up at me and our eyes met.
"Yeah I was, yeh light weight."
I chuckled. She does drink more than me.
"You ready to get a drummer?"
She smiled again, it was different this time though. Less sincere. More doubtful.
"Hey, it's all good. Cheer up a bit," I tried.
She shifted her weight, threw her fingers to her cheeks and gave a huge smile. "That better?" She laughed.
Her hands flopped to her side and she grabbed my hands.
"We'll figure it out."

I felt guilty for Cashel's hang over. I shouldn't have made her drink so much.
She was having a grand time and I couldn't help myself. I couldn't say no to her.
I slid down the guard rail, my new thing at this hotel. I hopped off and ran into the diner. "Excuse me, ma'am?" I questioned.
"Yes?" She replied.
I smiled knowing that she was the one who had recognized us. Keeping my voice down I asked, "You seen Ladaysha around here?"
She shook her head, "Not here. Not yet anyways."
I smiled, "Okay. See ya around!"
She nodded as I raced off and passed the lobby. I heard the attendants telling me to stop running.
I laughed, turned and jogged backwards and stuck my tongue out and kept running.
As I spun back around I hit someone or something and fell over backwards.
I thanked the heavens that I was out of view of the lobby so they couldn't tell that I fell.
"F*ck it all.." I muttered.
"Very sorry miss."
My eyes took time to focus. When I regained my sight I searched for the person I hit but instead found a hand.
I took it and stood up.
"The name's Wesli."
I smirked.
She was one of our audition-ees.
"I'm Ally..."
I took a second. I thought through the list of names; Ellie, KL, Misha, Keni.. Wesli.
I had made the decision.
"... Your new band mate."
