ł 'West's' POV ł
Today I hear voices. Three to be precise. Two male, one female. A odd spark of some emotion lights in me. I don't recognize it. It's like a happiness of some sort. That's odd. I haven't felt that in, well ever. After touching my chest for a moment wondering where the spark went, I stand. I'm in my regular all cement room with only the wooden entry way. Now you may be thinking why didn't I just kick it down well that's because it's on the ceiling and I can't reach it. Vampires jump in when they want me and climb up a ladder that some one else throws down to get out.
The voices start to talk again and I try to listen to them. The female voice speaks first. "It's time Harry."
"Are you sure? Eva we could wait one more day." A male voice apparently called Harry responds.
"No Eva is right it has to be tonight." A different masculine voice replies. What are they even taking about?
"Ha take that." Eva says in a mocking tone probably directed towards Harry. The two of them seem to have a sort of tension between them. They probably like each other. Not that I would know anything about real relationships.
"Whatever." Harry blows it off as if it were nothing. "We should mark her first though."
I don't know what marking is, but it sounds painful. Then again what in my life isn't painful.
Then the entry hatchet flips open. The faint light that comes from the outside makes me cover my eyes and back into the shadows. I smell something, it smells like straw then a man falls into the room.
He's tall and bulky. His hair is so short it sticks up and I think it's brown but I'm not sure. His clothing is a mix of greens and browns. His shirt is a camo pattern, his cargo pants are a dark brown with mud stains on the knees. His black scuffed up boots are large and I'm not sure how he moves his feet in them.
The man whom I am assuming is Harry falls in next. His hair is black as night and is messed up slightly. He's wearing a black leather jacket with gray jeans. He's actually quite cute. I know I shouldn't be thinking that way about my captor, still he is.
Lastly the girl called Eva drops in carrying some sort of needle pointed gun. She's a red head, I'm not surprised. Much like her guy friends she's wearing a brown leather jacket and camo cargo pants. They actually look really cool together. Again I shouldn't think that way about my captors. I can't deny it though. They look awesome. Like some killer team.
Eva is smiling at me, a wicked smile, but still the first smile I've seen in years. "Come out West."
Surprisingly her voice is kind so I slowly walk out of the shadows to face her. Her face is welcoming and so are the others. This doesn't seem right. They've kept me down here for years let me get raped and beaten and drank from. I should be angry at them. I should hate them. I can't seem to though. And it kills me. I should want to rip them piece from piece, but I just don't. They are the first people to smile at me in years. Maybe they aren't all that bad. Maybe they actually care about me.
No they don't. I immediately think. They captured me and basically let people torture me. Maybe it wasn't their fault though. Eva continues to smile at me. "It's ok West we just have to move you."
My eyebrows scrunch together. Moving me. They've never done that before. Is there a problem with here? Has something endangered this place?
"What's that for?" I ask. Damn its been so long since I've heard my own voice. It actually shocks me. I used to love to sing and talk. Now my voice is weak and quiet. How time changes a person.
