ł Sookie's POV ł

"What do you mean she's gone?" I ask instantly. "What did you do?!?!"

"West," He spits out through his fans. "She left."

"Why would she leave, Eric?" Bill shoots at Eric accusingly. Eric growls under his breath at him. I slowly step away from both of them towards Pam and Amelia. Pam seems oddly protective of Amelia and has her hands on Amelia's shoulders. Eric steps closer to Bill and Bills fangs pop out too.

"How am I supposed to know Bill?" Ok this has gone far enough. I step in between them and gently push them apart.

Trying desperately to be a voice of reason I say. "Let's not fight we have to find her."

"Well how are we supposed to do that?" Amelia asks concerned. Eric turns to her.

"You and Pam don't get to help, you have to prepare." Prepare for what? Are they having some sort of event at Fangtasia. Or is Eric just trying to keep them out of this.

"Prepare for what?" I ask Pam and she rolls her eyes.

She responds jut as her and Amelia are leaving to go out to the bar. "I'm changing Amelia soon."

Amelia gives me a giddy smile before they both disappear. Funny I've never found Pam to be the motherly sort, I guess something must have changed. From what I've seen of Amelia she seems like a nice girl. I'm sure she'll make a wonderful vampire.

Bill looks to Eric. "Are you sure Pam's ready to have a prodigy?"

"I don't know," He says calming down somewhat. "But Amelia will make a good vampire."

Was that what I thought it was? Could it be - a compliment? Is he actually having some form of positive emotion for a human he doesn't want to suck dry? How odd. Well he is going to be her makers maker. If that makes any sense.

We both turn back to Eric who has now simmered down a bit. Bill says to us. "I can't sense her."

"You can never sense West." Eric responds immediately. He goes for the door shouting back to us. "She can't have gone far."

Great now we're on a wild goose hunt for a girl who doesn't want to be found. Plus the fact that she was practically raised by vampires. We're never going to find her, not unless she wants to be found.

None the less we follow Eric. He leads us across the street to a store with the words 'Blood Lust' on a large sign hanging above it. Why would she come here? How would she get money to spend? What would she even spend money on if she had any? Eric checks his jacket and sighs. "She stole some money from me."

"Looks like you got yourself a little criminal in the making." I say passing Eric into the store. A older large man looks at us then looks at Eric and pulls out a sheet of paper. We all step towards it and the oldish man who I'm assuming is the store manager says.

"It's everything she bought." How did he- you know I really don't want to know. I do read his thoughts though.

I can't tell them anything other than this. What ever that girl is running from she is seriously scared. I'm not going to help them catch her if they want to force her to go back with that monster.

The mans eyes land on Eric and I know what he was talking about. Eric can be a monster but we do need to find West. Well maybe there is something she bought that can help us.
