Me and Annabeth are still on the search in the morning, when suddenly, a figure materialized beside us.

I looked up in surprise, and Annabeth drew her sword.

"Hello." The figure said, stepping towards us. We froze and stared at her.

"Uh..." My face was priceless. His eyes bulged and his mouth was open wide. Annabeth told me, and I blushed. "Aren't you Bloom?" Annabeth asked, motioning to her cape and her features.

She smiled, and replied, "no. I'm merely just a manifestation. The one who appeared at your camp is also me."

Right, it takes a lot to confuse a daughter of Athena, but Annabeth looked perplexed. Then she looked at she hit the dot.

"Oh. My. Gods. Not this..." she face palmed, and I shrugged at her, to say what?

"A manifestation." She muttered, repeatedly face palming herself. "Of course!" She looked up at us.

"I only have a few minutes." Bloom's manifestation warned. "Find me. In the heart of the forest. At the heart of the forest lies what cannot be seen with the naked eye, but can be felt by the soul."

Then with that un-riddle-ish piece of obvious information, she exploded.

I mean literally, exploded. Her manifestation was blasted into shreds, leaving magic dust sprinkled everywhere.

"Bleh." I muttered, sneezing from the dust.

"Well..." Annabeth very helpfully concluded, "that just happened."

"Do you think this means all the other chaotic warriors at camp were manifestations too?" I asked, wiping dust off my clothes.

"Ah-choo! Probably. Stupid magic exploding goddess." Annabeth muttered under her breath.

"What now?" I asked, trying to forget that past hour.

"The heart of the forest..." She muttered, tracing her fingers across the ground.

"Yeah, you've got an idea?" I asked. I hope she did, Annabeth Chase here, aka Alpha was the breaths of this quest. We needed those smarts.

"Oh...wait...yes...YES!" She cried triumphantly, pumping a fist. "I got it!"

"Yeah?" I asked expectantly.

"Bloom! She's the guardian of Vivren!" She cried, as if that was news.

"What else is new?" I grumbled, a bit put down.

"No! Luke..." She complained, exasperated. She threw up her hands in the air, and rolled her eyes. "No, you don't get it. Vivren! It's the universe of life! It's Bloom's home!"

I stared at her blankly. "I still don't...wait...life..." suddenly I understood.

Bloom was guardian of life...Vivren is the universe of life...

"The heart of the forest must mean Vivren!" I exclaimed, bewildered that I figured that out myself, with a few clues from Annabeth here, of course.

"Oh, now you get it."

"What?" I protested. "I'm not much in the intelligence department!"

"You, sir," she teased, jabbing me in the chest with her index finger, "are all trick. I still remember-"

I cut her off. I hated my past. "Shut up." I grumbled, crossing my arms. "But if she's in Vivren..."

"She can help us find our friends!!!" Annabeth snapped her fingers, grinning.

"Yeah!"

"But how do we get to Vivren?" I asked, wincing at this roadblock.

"That, my boy," Annabeth snickered, "is easily arranged."

She snapped her fingers, and a swirling mass of magic appeared in front of us.

"What...how..." I was envious. I hadn't even mastered the art of fireballs, and she mastered the art of portals?!

"A portal?!" I cried.

"You betcha." She smirked evilly. "You first."

I stepped into the portal, and was vaguely aware of Annabeth coming in behind me before I blacked out.
