"You look beautiful." Blake said as we walked to his car causing me to blush a little harder and I looked at him.
"You don't look to bad yourself." I said as he opened the door for me and I got in before he shut the door.
"Such a gentlemen." I said as soon as he got into the drivers seat.
"Don't get used to it." He said with an annoyed tone but he had a smile on his face that showed that he didn't mind.
"So are you going to tell me where we are going yet?" I asked him yet again.
"Nope, because it would ruin the surprise." He said as he backed out the driveway.
"Oh come on!" I said with a pout.
"Sorry princess, but even with that adorable look on your face, my lips are sealed." He said with a smile and I huffed which caused him to chuckle.
"Hey what was Sierra like when she was in sixth grade?" Blake asked me as he drove and I was taken back by that question.
"It's just, I meet her shortly after freshman year began and I heard you and her talking about the past before and I was just wondering. What was she like back than and what where you like back than?" He said when i didn't answer at first.
"Well she used to be the nicest person you could ever meet. She truly believed that everyone was good they just liked to show it in different ways but slowly she realized it wasn't like that at all. So after Christmas break in sixth grade she just snapped. She changed. A lot of people saw it as a bad thing but in my eyes, it just showed me that she was tired of being walked on and she needed to change. It showed me her true strength and I admired her for that. She was the one who helped me with my problems and I helped her with her problems. Since then we have been really close and over the years we just grew into what we are now. I just wished that I was here for her for those two years. I felt like a horrible big sister when I found out that she was hurting herself and I couldn't do anything to help her. I was upset over that and at the same time I was really mad at her for falling that far into the pit." I said as I stared out the window.
"Who would have thought that, that crazy bitch used to be nice to everyone." He said with a slight chuckle.
"I was a broken mess back then. I was so shy, naive and weak it was pitiful. I tried to avoid everyone but Sierra would drag me everywhere. She forced me to hang out with her and at first it was really awkward and I didn't want to do it but each day it would lesson and it would just seem so I stuck around. After her snapping at Christmas break she was so mean to everyone except to me. And that's when her dad started to teach us how to defend ourselves. Sierra would practice every single chance she got and still got colder to everyone. I was glad that she was changing but at the same time I was kinda upset that she would push everyone away that she didn't trust. Slowly I started to become cold to, nothing like how cold Sierra was but cold enough that it was known that we were not to be messed with. That was almost taken from me in seventh grade when my actual dad came back into the picture. It was me, Sierra, and a couple of our friends all hanging out after school at the football game and Sierra and i decided to go get some snacks when I saw him." I said and rubbed my arm as I remembered and Blake looked at me with worry.
"I was so shocked to see him that I didn't have time to register the fact that I needed to get away from him as fast as possible but I was just frozen in place. Sierra knew something was up and started to look for the source of what made me stop but didn't see anything so she started to ask me what was wrong when she was pushed out of the way. I was standing face to face with him and everything finally seemed to click. I started to back up but all he did was grab me by the arm and pulled me closer which caused me to yelp in pain. As soon as I yelped, it clicked in Sierra's head and she shot him a death glare that made me want to go run and hide and my actual dad got the full force of that glare but he held onto my arm tighter which caused Sierra to growl. He still didn't let me go and I sightly cried. Something flipped inside Sierra as soon as she saw me crying. One minute she was looking at me and then back at my dad, then next she had him pinned to the ground beating the crap out of him with everything she had. It took me forever to pull her off of him so he could be cuffed and carried off. And ever since then, I started to become more like Sierra. Closed off and cold but after middle school, I started to let people in again, slowly but surely. I moved to Texas with my stepdad, and started the high school there. I was friends with Adrian for a long time before we started dating but in the end he was one of the people who made me realize why me and Sierra decided to become different." I said as I rubbed my arm again.
"Ya, I still owe him a good ass kicking for hurting you." Blake said as he glanced over at me.
"Well its kinda impossible now." I pointed out.
"True but it still wouldn't stop me in the future. People who cheat are one of the main reasons why I tried to avoid relationships." He said with what sounded like to be pain filled voice.
"What happened to you that makes you say that?" I asked him and he gripped the steering wheel a little bit tighter before losing his grip.
"I used to date Britney's sister, but I broke up with her because I found her kissing one of the football players which caused me to change, and after I changed is when I met your sister. I'm not going to lie, when I first met your sister she was so cold it was unnatural. She still is but it's not as bad as it used to be." He said.
"Trust me. Nothing compares to the coldness she had when she met my dad for the first time." I said with a slight shiver.
"Anyway. We're here." Blake said as he parked. I looked around to see that we were downtown and got out. He took my hand and led me to a slightly old building that I instantly recognized and I gasped.
"So it seems you figured it out." He said with a smile.
"How?" I asked him.
"Let's just say an old friend and he gave me the passes." He said and I smiled.
"Then what are we waiting for?" I asked with a big smile and I started to pull him towards the door.
"You seem excited." He said as he put his arm around me.
"It's the most popular place that DJ Raven likes to play at and I've been dying to come here and hear him play." I said and Blake smirked.
"Well you can scratch that off your bucket list because it's about to come true." He said before he finished pulling me towards the door. He showed the guard our passes and we walked in. This is going to be so much fun. I thought as I pulled Blake to the dance floor feeling like I had a zoo in my stomach.
