Chapter Twenty-Five

I've been back two months and I was glad after the whole Adrian thing everything was calm. Well calm enough for a senior in high school with a job.

I was walking to my locker after school ended only to see two people sucking face by my locker.

"Fuck this. I'll just ask Sam if I can borrow her book." I mumbled before I turned around and headed for the outside doors. Once outside I heard my phone go off.

"Hello?" I asked once I answered.

"Hey Danielle, can you come in today and cover for Kayla? She had to go to the hospital." My boss said.

"Ya sure. I'll be there soon. I'm leaving school now and I've got to go home and change. So fourty minutes to an hour." I said as I calculated the time with possible traffic problems.

"Okay. See you soon." He said before he hung up. I sighed and got into my truck. I was backing out slowly when I had to slam on my breaks because of one asshole not looking.

I got home ten minutes later and saw a slightly familiar car sitting in the driveway. I walked into the house to see my mom, stepdad and Adrians dad talking in the living room.

"Hey sweetie your home." My mom said.

"I'm just here to change and go to work." I said.

"Oh okay honey." She said and I raced to my room to change.

I grabbed my uniform and put it on. I worked at the Irish pub that was by the base. I slipped on my short spandex shorts and put my shoes on.

"Hey Danie, just to let you know Adam will be staying here for a week." I heard my mom say and I resisted the urge to growl.

"Okay. Sierra and some of our friends have been wanting a girls night so." I said.

"Okay. Your father, Adam and I will be out late so if you get home before us don't wait for us." She said.

"I won't." I said as i grabbed my duffle bag and threw some clothes in and my binders. I zipped it closed and left my room. I grabbed my keys and left. I turned around and came face to face with a chest. Holy shit. I thought as I looked up to see Blake standing there with a smug look.

"What?" I asked him as I felt something brush up against my legs. I looked down to see Opie and Duke against my legs.

"Hey you two." I said with a smile as I bent down to pet them.

"Go give Sierra my bag." I told them. They looked at me and sneezed before they both took my bag and dragged it off to Sierra's house.

"Can you give me a lift to my gym?" He asked.

"Is it the one where I took my refresher course on the training dad gave me?" I asked him.

"Yes. I have a match coming up and I need to train." He said.

"Fine. But you have to find a way back home." I said and unlocked my truck. I shut my door and Blake shut his door.

"Nice outfit by the way Princess." He said with a smirk.

"It's just my waitries uniform." I said as I backed out the drive.

"I like it."

"Your mainly saying that because it shows off my boobs."

"That. And I can see how long your legs are in that skirt." He said.

"Your such a horny prick." I said as I pulled out my neighborhood.

"Depends on the persons viewpoint." Blake said as he played with my radio.

"No. Driver picks the music. Passanger shuts their cake hole." I said as I slapped his hand away.
