Chapter Twenty-Nine

I woke up from my nap to see Blake standing there shirtless and talking on the phone.

"I don't know. Let me check." Blake said as he turned around and I sat up.

"What's going on?" I asked him as I rubbed my eyes.

"Max wants to move my fight for tonight because the other fighter has another fight scheduled for the same day our fight was supposed to happen." He said.

"Go ahead. I'll just change and read his file." I said as I climbed out of the bed.

"Okay. I'll go grab your bags." Blake said before he walked out his room.

"Wait bags?" I asked as I walked over to the door.

"Yes bags. Your stepdad says ever since the Adrian business went down from the day he came to out school he said that your mom started acting strange. He wantes you to live with Sierra but that would have been the first place for her to look. I suggested Sam, Kami. Hell Ieven said Blade and Steven and on paper say that you were cousins and some things went to hell with your house hence why you live with them now." Blakesaid as he held out my bags.

"And I'm guessing it didn't work."

"The only person outside my friends that knew where I live is an ex." Blake said.

"And they said for me to live here for awhile for protection." I finished.

"Yes. Don't worry about her finding you here. Kami made sure she wasn't followed and she even went through several ways before she got here. Shes the one who packed all your stuff." He said.

"How long do I have to get ready before we have to go?"

"An hour and a half. I'm going to call Blade to see how Sierra is." Blake said before he pressed a kiss on my forehead. I let out a small sigh before I walked into the bathroom with my bags.

I texted a thank you to Kami before I took a quick shower. I my hair up in a towel and then I grabbed my phone to see a reply from her.

"Your welcome. Tell Blake good luck on his fight for me and Steven. Also I'm so glad to see you two together. You guys look adorable together. Also I believe Steven is going to ask me out on a date soon."

"Hope so too. You two would look cute together." I said before I sat down my phone. I dug through my bags and grabbed my clothes. I put them on and let my hair out of the towel. I grabbed my brush and hair dryer.

Twenty minutes later my hair was dried and fixed. I did my make up and left the bathroom to see Blake standing there with a plate full of food.

"Figured you would be hungry. Since we missed breakfast and spirit through lunch." He said before he handed it to me.

"Where's that file?" I asked him as I grabbed a pancake.

"Right here." He said as he grabbed it off the bed. I nodded and grabbed it and sat down on his bed. I was reading the file when Blake sat down behind me and pulled me closer. I smiled even though it felt like I had all the zol animals in my stomach.

"Sierra managed to write down a few notes on what to do." I said as I closed the file.

"Okay. Let me have them." He said.

"You can once we get to the building where your fight is." I said as I got off his bed and I grabbed my boots. I kissed his check.

"Come on. You've got a fight to win." I said as I went to turn around and he grabbed my hand and pulled me to him causing me to crash onto his chest and making him fall on the bed.
