Chapter One.
I was awoken suddenly by the sound of pulsing music coming from the room next door.
I had only been here one day and already I couldn't get one decent nights sleep. Already I wanted to be tucked up in my own bed and not in this small college flat with assholes next door.
I took a quick glance at my alarm clock, hoping to God it wasn't too late (or early in the morning). Yet to my dismay and utter irritation, it was 2 am and the music had just got a hell of a lot louder.
I glared at my wall like it held all the reasons why I was annoyed. When really, the reasons were beyond it.
"For Christ sake!" I whispered angrily to myself as my head began pounding and my eyes were begging to be closed again. I shook my head and let a deep breath out. Just be calm, that's all you can do.
I closed my eyes and wrapped my pillow around my face and definitely around my ears. The pillow only just blocked enough sound out to make me sigh in content. Obviously, I could still hear the music, but it was only a softer hum.
I was nearly asleep again when suddenly a bang resonated throughout my miniature room. I jumped and threw my pillow to the ground.
"What the actually-?" I muttered. Before finishing my sentence I flew out of my bed quickly and stomped my way through my bedroom, into the living room and to the door. I swung the door open like a mad man and marched my way over to the flat next to mine.
My mind was cloudy and misty with anger and irritation. I wasn't thinking straight and my mind depended on this mission.
I hammered the door down with my fist as loud as I could. Nobody answered. I punched and kicked and double punched, hoping I was making myself heard.
When I was just nearly about to give up, the door opened with a loud thud.
"What?" He snapped. The boy who opened my door was lean, muscular and dark haired. He had smatters of hair over his chin and his jaw. He was extremely tall and looked completely athletic. His green eyes sparkled and twinkled, reflecting off of the hall lights. I nearly got lost in them before shaking my head and getting back to business.
"Is this your room?" I asked, tapping my foot impatiently on the floor.
"Who's asking?" He continued with obvious irritation. I looked at him stupidly.
"Me!" I exasperated while throwing my hands up into the air.
"No, I meant who are you?" He replied while huffing with impatience and more irritation. "I haven't seen you before." His eyebrows were molded into a downwards position and his lips thinned evenly into an angry looking position. I couldn't help but appreciate his looks and the features he obtained.
"I'm you're neighbour having to suffer through this loud music!" I huffed.
"And it's my first year, that's most probably why you've never seen me before." I stated. He hummed and nodded his head slowly. I could tell he wasn't focused, which aggravated me more.
"Nice pajamas. Oh are they bunnies?" He sniggered and smirked. My cheeks flamed and right then and there I wanted to cover myself up. I should have thought this through, bunny shorts and a vest top wasn't exactly the most fitting outfit. I couldn't turn back now though.
"Just shutup." I let out through gritted teeth.
"Okay, okay." He put his arms up in defense. "Well, don't you want to come in and party?" He asked with a sudden curiosity.
"No I do not want to come in and party, I just want to go to sleep!" I huffed. "Can you please just turn down the music?" I asked, with a sickly sweet smile and a pouted lip. "Please?"
