Slowly, brightness took over my sight, causing my eyes to clench shut. Wincing, I groaned and buried my face into the inviting warmth. About to let sleep take over once again, I was interrupted by the sound of Soulja Boy's Crank That. Instantly, I shot up, forgetting that Mark slept here and tripped over him trying to get to my phone.

"Fuck, fuck, fucking shit," I hissed, standing up, and limping my way over to my phone. "Kieren?"

"Ow what the.." A groan came from behind me, knowing that Mark was up now. "Marcey what the hell?"

"Marce? Who are you with?" Kieren's voice broke my trance, and I ran a hand through my hair, turning back to Mark.

"Mark," I sighed, both answering her question, and catching the olders attention. "Hey one sec Ren." Pulling the phone away, and placing it face down on my desk, I began to laugh. "You alright?"

"I don't know, I had a foot in my stomach a second ago, and a knee in my hip," he sarcastically replied, and sighed, sitting up.

"Tell me more of that story later, my friends on the phone," I motioned him to leave, and he looked at the time.

"It's 7 a.m., what could your friend want this early?"

"No idea, but it's 10 a.m., where she is," I stated, picking my phone up again. "If you won't leave, be quiet. Hey Ren, I'm back."

"Okay," she said slowly, before starting up. "Anyways. I um... I'm kinda in Cali right now, at LAX, and I need a ride. I don't have enough for a taxi."

"What the hell are you doing here," immediately, I began to write a note down for Mark, telling him to see if his parents could possibly drive us to LAX.

Sending him out of the room, I put my phone on speaker, and shut my door to get ready. Changing into a bandeau, I slipped on a marroon muscle tank, and ripped black skinny jeans, along with marroon Vans. I started on makeup, and skipped contact lenses, placing my glasses on the bridge of my nose. Spraying a bit of my Japanese Cherry Blossom spray, and putting deoderant, I listened as Kieren explained everything.

"Well, grew tired of Norfolk, and everything else, and a real good friend let me stay with her for a while," she explained, while I began to braid my hair.

"Ah, well hopefully one, if not both of Mark's parents are able to drive out there, if not I'll call an Uber," I stated, searching for my multiple wrist bands.

"Can't you drive?"

"Yes but, it's not my car. Also, I don't know California well."

"Hey Marce," Mark stated, walking into the room. "They're at work. I'll drive you."

"You sure? I could always-"

"Yeah, just let me get ready," he interrupted, walking out and shutting the door.

"Was that Mark?" Ren questioned, I could practically see her smirk. "Why was he there when you-"

"Have to finish getting ready, see you soon, bye!" Immediately, I hung up, face growing warm as I sighed. Stuffing the device in my back pocket, I ran to the bathroom, seeing it empty and began to brush my teeth.

Arriving at the airport, Mark parked and I hopped out of the car. We walked inside, trying to find Kieren, however that was difficult considering how large the airport is. We both sighed, going towards an empty area, and I began to take out my phone to text the older girl. That was, however, until I heard my name being yelled, and being shoved to the floor.

"Fuck you," I groaned, looking to see a laughing pastel grey haired girl laying on the floor beside me. "Why the hell, did you tackle me? When did you dye your hair?"
