Chapter 23

-3 Months Later-

Finally, it was the morning after our debut video came out. We had eagerly awaited the response of our fans, who we had conveniently called MAGIs or Magicians. Of course, once it was uploaded, we watched views skyrocket, and cheered loudly in the practice room. Over this time of 3 months since arriving, both Ren and I learned loads of Korean, however no where near fluent. Instead, we'll carry on conversations in Korean, hearing corrections made, or pronounciation help from the others. Along with that, it has also been 6 months since Ren and I started dating Jackson and Mark. Of course arguments erupted, especially when I finally told him why I was in California.

"Congratulations girls," our manager walked into the room, smiling brightly and nodded in approval. We continued jumping around in excitement, none of us being able to sleep. "Now, more good news. Gather around." Quickly standing in a group in front of our manager, she grinned, taking out a notepad. "With the response, you are scheduled for an episode of ASC, next week actually. Along with that, your show from pre-debut has good responses, and eventually, you'll be filming a drama. However, the drama won't be filming for a few more months, therefore, you now have acting classes. Which brings me to this, who has acting experience, both ameteur and professional?"

"I've taken acting classes since I was 14," I stated, hand raised like a kid in class. Yeon also raised her hand, saying she took theatre in high school.

"Acting classes are a go," she mumbled, writing it down. "Now, for today, you girls can have a break, and head back to the dorms. Except, Kieren-ah, Marcey-ah, you are needed in JYP-nims office. That's all." With that, she walked out of the room, going to set our schedules out.

"We'll see you back at the dorm, I guess," Kieren mumbled and shrugged. Nodding, they waved before walking out.

Gathering our belongings, I quickly looked on my phone, scrolling through my messages. Finding nothing of importance, I followed Ren out of the practice room, and up the stairs. Normally, we took the elevator, however knowing we were going to just binge later and not exercise, we took the stairs from the 3rd floor up to the 6th floor.

Once we arrived, I knocked, waiting for his response. Hearing a quick 'Come in,' I opened the door, growing anxious as Jackson and Mark were also in the room. Shutting the door behind Kieren, we walked towards the 2 free chairs, and sat down.

"Welcome ladies," Mr. Park stated. "Now, time to get down to business. You have been dating for over 6 months almost, correct?" Soft nods came from all 4 of us, as I felt my stomach knot up. "Well, we were thinking, since the girls will be guest starring on ASC next week, that we should let you go public. Of course, there will be questions, just don't be personal. I know why both of you moved out to LA, I asked Mrs. Tuan, seeing as she knew both reasons, so don't delve into that. Leave that out. Just, it's time to go public. The relationships seems extremely stable, and honestly, I don't see any of you breaking up anytime soon. Is this okay?"

"Yes JYP-nim," we agreed. Dismissing us, we bowed and exited the office, standing in the hall silently as the door closed.

"What just happened?" I questioned.

"You guys are what!?" Iseul questioned loudly, looking between the 4 of us.

"JYP-nim said we're going public during ASC next week," I repeated, awkwardly laughing. "Seeing as it's been 6 months, he thought now would be a good opportunity."

"Oh my god," Yeon mumbled, sighing and shaking her head tiredly. "Let's just, talk about this tomorrow. Right now, let's relax and celebrate the successful debut."

"Yeah, schedule starts up again tomorrow," Yoon stated. "Mini interviews during a photo shoot."

"Hey, we'll be right back," I stated, standing up, and pulling Mark up with me. Slipping some boots on, and walking into the hallway, I paused outside of Marks dorm.
