-Kieren's POV-
As I walked into Marcey's room, I sat on the bed. She had already told me that she had liked Mark for a while now, and I knew this would be bad for her. It would be difficult for them, no doubt, but I'm more worried about how they'll react if they knew we were watching.
"Ren?" A voice asked, a knock on the door catching my attention. "You in here?"
"Yeah," I responded, recognizing Jackson's voice. "What's up?" I questioned once he was in. With a click, the door shut and he jumped onto the bed beside me.
"Nothing really," he grinned. "How come you left?"
"Well, I don't know what to be more worried about, the fact that they might know we were eavesdropping, or if they decide to be together." Jackson sighed before nodding in response. He rested his chin on my shoulder, sitting behind me as he gave me a tight back-hug.
Feeling my heart rate pick up, I tried to calm down, knowing he could probably tell as his face was nuzzled in the crook of my neck. I just let him be, as I had grown quite familiar to the feeling of his arms and my racing heart beat. I already knew I had grown feelings for him, even though it's nearly been 2 weeks.
"Hey Ren," Jackson mumbled, his lips tickling me slightly as I felt heat rush up my neck. "Do you wanna know something?"
"Depends," I responded, looking down at my hands that held my phone. "Good or bad?"
"Both, I guess," he answered, sighing softly before pulling back. Glancing back at him, I saw him looking down as he removed his arms. "I don't know if I can be as courageous as Mark-hyung though." I heard him mumble.
"What does Mark have to do with anything?" I asked silently, feeling nervous as my stomach knotted. "Speaking of, what's this secret about me?" Seeing him tense up, I grew more nervous as I slowly stood up.
"I promise it's nothing bad," he answered quickly, however still looking down at his hands.
"Well then, tell me the secret the first then the news," I said slowly, went to plug my phone in.
"They're connect-" he was cut off suddenly by a loud ringing coming from Marcey's laptop. Jumping slightly, I went towards it, seeing a skype call from her brother.
"Hey Marce-"
"It's Ren," I cut him off, seeing his confusion.
"Ren? What are you doing in LA?" He questioned immediately. "She's not in Norfolk right?"
"Hello to you too Brad, I missed you too," I answered sarcastically. "No, she's not in Norfolk, and I moved out here."
"Oh," Brad sighed in relief. "Well, where's Marcey?"
"With Mark," I responded, shrugging it off. "They're outside. I'll tell her you called."
"Okay," he smiled. "Thanks, later." With that, I hung up, sighing and spun around to see Jackson.
"Who's Brad?" Jackson asked, confusion on his face, however his eyes said other wise.
"Marcey's older brother," I answered. "And practically my brother too." I saw him nod before standing again. I carefully went to Marcey's closet, taking a large hoodie as it seemed to be chilly suddenly and looked back to see Jackson standing behind me. "God, Jacks, warn me next time." I laughed awkwardly, and slipping the hoodie on.
Soon as it was on, I heard Jackson take in a deep breath. Looking up concerned, I unintentionally walked closer to see if he was okay or not. Growing even more confused, I watched as he softly grabbed the back of my neck, and his other hand on my cheek. With wide eyes, I watched as he drew closer until his lips landed on mine.
Frozen, my eyes were wide open, arms instinctively held Jackson's waist, and red dusted my cheeks.Realizing what was happening, I closed my eyes and let my arms completely wrap around Jackson's waist, softly kissing back.
"Why do you always make me look!" A voice cried out, and I quickly jumped back, looking towards the door and saw Yugyeom rolling around on the floor. BamBam looked inside, eyes wide along with JB, Junior, and Youngjae.
Blushing, I looked down at my feet, hands behind my back as Jackson coughed. I rocked back and forth on my heels before glancing up at the guys, who slowly walked away, shutting the door behind them. We stood in silence, me still being too shy to look up at Jackson.
"You want to know the secret right?" Jackson eventually spoke up. "And the good and bad news? Well lets start off with good news and the secret. I like, quite a bit actually. I can't exactly describe it, but it's something about you, and I wouldn't mind getting to know why more. Bad news is, that I'm an idol, and I live on the other side of the world, 16 hours ahead of you might I add."
I nodded, already knowing the bad news of the current situation. Along with the fact there's only 1 week left until they would return to South Korea. I wasn't exactly sure how to feel, whether I should be happy or dejected. Happy that he has the same feelings, or dejected that right after confessing he'd have to go back.
"I know that," I answered, finally gaining courage and looking him in the eyes. "Why don't we figure it out before you leave, and see what happens? We both know Mark and Marce will be going through the same things, so we should just, talk it out with them too. Get an idea of what's happening with them."
He just nodded before carefully taking my arm, and holding my hand. Feeling a blush erupt on my cheeks, I looked down, only to hear his chuckled afterwards. Playfully punching his chest, I laughed and let go of his hand to go downstairs.
"Want any spicy ramen?" I questioned, turning and smiling innocently at him as he glared. Sticking my tongue out, I bolted down the hall towards the kitchen.
-3rd POV-
"Watch out!" Someone yelled before ramming into a small grey haired girl. Both falling onto the floor in a heap, painful groans erupted from the small pile.
"What happened?" Mrs. Tuan asked, walking towards the foyer, where she saw Marcey and Kieren on the floor. "So... What happened?"
As Mark walked in through the door, Jackson came down the stairs. Seeing the pile, both boys looked at each other before turning away to try and hide their laughs. Still confused, Mrs. Tuan reached down to help the 2 girls up.
"What happened here?" She asked again, looking as Marcey and Kieren were grabbing spots where there was pain.
"I was running from Mark," Marcey started. "And couldn't stop so I ran into Ren when she was coming down the stairs."
"And I was running from Jackson and didn't see her," Ren stated.
Mark and Jackson were slowly calming down as they walked towards the girls, and stood behind Marks mother. Receive glares from the 2 younger ones, the guys started to laugh once again. Mrs. Tuan smiled and shook her head before giving a warning to the 4 of them and walking into the kitchen to begin dinner.
-Marcey's POV-
"Ren, come here for a second," I called over, and saw her jokingly groan loudly. "Just for a second." Smiling at her antics, I dragged her out front and sat on the step of the porch. Once the door was shut, I leaned against the post and looked at the grey haired girl.
"What'd you call me out here for?" She asked, looking over at me as she followed my position.
"Did you tell Jacks?" I immediately asked. "He leaves really soon."
"Yeah, actually, and um... He may or may not have kissed me," She responded, smiling. I gaped at her and she sighed, snapping her fingers. "Stop that, we don't even know what we're going to do considering he lives in South Korea, and an idol."
"Yeah," I sighed. "I know that they only allowed to date if the other person has a talent. One involving like musical arts I'm guessing."
"Seriously?" Kieren asked, eyes wide and I nodded. "Well okay then."
"Whatever, let's just enjoy the time we have with all of them. Besides, foods almost done," I stood up, lending out a hand before pulling Ren up with me. "Let's go inside."
