-2 Days Later-
It's officially been 3 weeks since I came to LA, and things have gone smoothly. The guys have still been hiding something, much to my annoyance, and Mark still clings to me. Jackson and Kieren can't seem to get enough of each other, and he's always hugging her or holding her when everyone's around, or they're together. JB and Youngjae finally told Marks parents and Kieren and I about them, and now cuddle all day on the couch. Yugyeom and BamBam, are still pranking and having laughs with everyone, nothing different. Jinyoung, is still trying to read peacefully.
"Marce," Kieren whined, causing a soft chuckle to leave my lips. "What are we going to do?"
"We can always sleep," I smiled, looking over at her as I scanned my CDs on my dresser. "Who should we listen to?"
"Put on..." Silently thinking, she snapped her fingers. "5SOS, but that's not what I meant. What are we going to do when the guys go back to Korea?"
"Huh?" I questioned, closing the DVD player as I let 5SOS first album play. "What do you mean?"
"They're leaving in a week remember?" Ren stated. "Jackson told me yesterday, haven't they told you?"
"No..." I trailed off, looking at the floor. "I'll be right back." Leaving a confused Kieren, I went to find Mark, knocking on his door.
"What is it- oh, Marce, what's up?" Jackson smiled, opening the door. "Looking for Mark?" I just nodded and he told me he was outside.
Thanking him, I walked downstairs, and out the back door. I don't know whether to feel hurt, or pissed off. Out of all the time Mark and I had spent together, not once did he bring up him going back to Korea. Not one time.
"Yi Eun Tuan," I called, spotting the familiar blond. I saw him tense up, as he looked towards me, and his eyes went wide.
"Yes...?" He questioned, confused on the sudden use of his name.
"Why the fuck didn't you tell me you were leaving in a week?" I cursed, arms crossed. "Kieren told me, because Jackson told her yesterday. Out of all the time we've been hanging out, you haven't once told me you were leaving. Now you're going to be gone in a week?"
"Look," he started, hands out, and resting on my shoulders. Backing up, I leaned against the exterior of the house, and glared. "I'm sorry okay, I didn't know how to tell you. It's not something I could've casually brought up in conversations. We never talked about my life back in Korea."
"But you still could've slipped it in," I stated. "There's more than one way to bring things up. Things like "I'm going to miss moms cooking," or something like "I'm going to miss relaxing like this when I leave," c'mon Mark."
"Damnit Marce," he sighed. "You still would've been upset, I know it."
"I will admit, I would still be pissed," I confessed. "But it's better to hear it from you, probably earlier than now, not from Kieren. Especially when there's only a week left before your flight."
"There's a reason okay," he started. "I wasn't suppossed to leave after a month, but something came up that's making us leave earlier than planned."
"Is it that secret y'all have kept from me and Ren?" I asked, looking directly at Mark as he tensed. "It is, isn't it. Speaking of, that's making me aggravated, why can't you tell me what it is? You've told me shit tons of other things, but this seems serious and I want to help in anyway I can, but y'all wont tell me shit."
"Because it's about you and Ren," Mark spilled. "How do you expect me to tell you something, when it's about you?"
"Fine," I sighed, and stood up normally. "Whatever it is about me and Ren that happens to be none of our concern, that's fine. Ren's staying the night, sleep in your own bed." With that, I began to walk away, stopping when I hand was outstretched in front of me, and blocking my way. "What no-" as I looked at Mark, he leaned forward, cutting me off as something soft was suddenly on my lips.
-3rd POV-
As Mark and Marcey were arguing outside, they're loud voices were heard inside Marks room. Concerned, Jackson and the rest went to get Kieren as they quietly creeped downstairs, and outside.
"Because it's about you and Ren," they heard Mark state, causing them to freeze against the wall, out of view. "How do you expect me to tell you something, when it's about you?"
"Fine," they heard Marcey sigh eventually, and movement was heard as they all held their breath. "Whatever it is about me and Ren that happens to be none of our concern, that's fine. Ren's staying the night, sleep in your own bed." Jackson hissed, knowing how Mark might've been feeling. "What no-" suddenly silence.
Growing suspicious, they pushed Yugyeom to carefully look around the corner. As a sudden shriek escaped his lips, he bolted inside, and confusion filled the 6 of them even more. That was, until, footsteps were heard coming closer. At that point they all bolted back inside, hoping they weren't caught. Once inside Marks bedroom, they shut and locked the door, looking at a curled up Yugyeom on the floor.
"Yugyeomie," BamBam started, confused. "What'd you see?"
"Why'd you have to chose me," he questioned, still in ball and looking at the wall.
"It couldn't have been that bad," Youngjae stated, leaning against the wall, hands in his pockets.
"Well..." Yugyeom started. "Marce couldn't talk because something was occupying her lips."
"What?" Kieren questioned after silence consumed the room. She hadn't understood a single thing in the conversation, and felt awkward.
"Well, Mark finally maned up and kissed Marcey," Jackson said, smiling awkwardly. Kieren stood there, mouth open slightly, trying to form a sentence until she gave up and faced the wall, walking towards it and staying. "What is it?"
"Nothing, nothing," Kieren stated, sighing before walking out of the room and towards Marcey's room.
-1st POV-
Once I had come to accept the fact that Mark was in fact, kissing me, I closed my eyes, and my arms went around his neck. However, before I was able to return th kiss, a sudden noise caused me to pull away. Cheeks bright red, I turned away from Mark, and motioned him to follow me towards where the noise was from, only to come up empty around the corner.
"What-" hearing a door shut, I heard Mark sigh, before he stood in front of me to catch my attention. "Besides the fact that we were being watched," he began. "The reason I couldn't tell you about that secret was because I couldn't get enough courage to say that Marcey, I really like you."
"Is that why you got me from the ice cream parlor?" I questioned slowly, looking up at him. He nodded, and awkwardly scratched the nape of his neck. Smiling softly, I shook my head, leaning up and pecking his cheek. "Well you're lucky that I really like you too Mark." He froze and I held in my laughter, coughing before going stoic again. "But, I am still mad you never told me you were leaving so soon."
"Wha-" he stopped as I began walking to the front yard. "Yah! Marcey, come here!" I laughed as I heard him walking towards me, and his arms wrap around my waist, easily picking me up. "What was that about?" Instead of responding, I crossed my arms and looked away from him. "Fine then."
Being spun around, I saw his smug smirk, and bolted. Only making it to the front of the house, I was picked up and suddenly laying on the grass. Mark now laying on my chest as he smiled victoriuously at me. Before I could say anything, his lips were on mine again, and I smiled, kissing back.
