Chapter 3 - Oh Crap! (Edited)

My alarm woke me up, and just like that I regretted turning it on last night. As I opened my eyes I started looking for my phone. I tried to find it with my hand but it's nowhere to be found. Where is it?

The alarm kept going and I quickly got up to stop that annoying sound. After I found my phone somewhere underneath the blanket, I quickly turned the alarm off and put it to charge.

I quickly went to the bathroom to take a cold shower and freshen up. Me and Rose decided to catch up today. She said she would pick me up at 10am and we would go shopping. We might even go to the gym together, I hadn't  had the time to go this week because of work, I've been too busy lately.

I really missed her and the craziness that we created together in college was just insane.

I walked out from the bathroom and dried my hair quickly. After I dried it, I curled it,  giving it a wavy texture. I did my make up fast and put on my white crop top shirt and black jeans, paired with my adidas sneakers. Next, I took my wallet and phone to go.

Suddenly my phone rang and it's Rose.

"Hey" I answered.

"I'm at the lobby girl".

"Be there in 2" I ended the call and walked out from my room. I took the lift down to the lobby and ran out. I found a yellow ferrari park in front, suddenly the window rolled down revealing Rose who was wearing sunglasses and gestured me to get inside.

"Heyyy" I hugged her as I shut the door.

"Hey girl, you look hot!" she looked at my outfit and I can't help but chuckled.

"Thanks, you look sexy today" she's wearing a halter crop top with a white shorts.

"Thank you" she said as she drove out from the hotel. Her phone suddenly rang, she answered and puts it on speaker.

"Hey Rose, how are you?"

"Oh hey Jean, i'm good. What's up?" Rose asked.

"Did I tell you that Blake's birthday is in 2 days?" she asked.

"You didn't tell me about that" Rose answered.

"Oh forgive me. That's why I wanted to make sure you knew. You have to come to the usual bar okay? At 7 p.m".

"Okay Mrs. Samuel. Oh Jean, Sophia is here with me at the car. We're going shopping".

"Hey Jean" I greeted her.

"Oh Sophia! You have to come to Blake's birthday party too. Okay? No excuses, please come with Rose" she said it so sweetly and I look at Rose and she mouthed me to say 'Yes'.

"Will do Jean. Do you want to join us today?" I asked and Rose gave me a thumbs up.

"Can I?" Jean asked.

"Of course! Why not?! Don't let Blake tag you" Rose warned.

"He won't, he's in Miami right now. He's meeting with his best friend there so there will be no Blakey". Hearing Rose call Blake Samuel, Blakey that made me chuckle.

"Meet us at Manhattan Mall" Rose said.

"Okay, I'll just change and meet you. Did you bring your driver or are you driving?"

"I brought my own car" Rose answered.

"Be there in 20" she said and Rose told her that we'll wait there. She bid her goodbye and ended the call.

"Let me ask you something" Rose suddenly turned to me and I raised my eyebrows waiting for her question

"Did Aaron hit on you yesterday?"

"Yeah".

"So what did you do?" she asked curiously.

"I turned him down".

"What?!" she stepped on the brake causing me to glare at her.

"I turn him down Rose and what's the matter with that? Isn't it normal if we don't like the guy, we turn him down?"

"He's a Samuel, Sophia. A Samuel never backs down and never takes no for an answer if they want something" she said as I look at her disbelief.

"What kind a theory is that?" I let out a small laugh.

"Sophia, you must know that Luke is my brother and he's one of the 7 Gold Lifes. He's told me quite a lot about the Samuel's".

"I know about the 7 Gold Lifes, Rose. Everyone knows and worships them" I sighed.

"Then you should know you messed with the wrong person".

"I don't want to have a date with Aaron, Rose".

"They don't do dates and relationship Sophia, they bed them" and at that comment my mouth fell open.

"Thank God I turned him down then" I'm relieved now.

"He won't stop Soph, he won't stop until he gets you". What?!

"The Samuel's will get what they wa-"

"Wa- wait, if the Samuel's don't do relationships then why is Blake Samuel married to Jean Verodine?" I asked and she chuckled.

"He happened to fall in love and he's not in the 7 Gold Lifes, so he's safe".

"What do you mean 'not in the 7 Gold Lifes so he's safe'?" I asked not understanding.

"I don't know too Sophia, it's their secret and no one knows besides them 7 idiots".

"So I'm in dip shit?" I asked her bluntly.

"Basically, yes".

"You're dating one of them!" I pointed.

"I never date Maximillion, Sophia. We need each other". She smirked and I looked at her in disgust

"Yeah but you love him". I hit the spot because she sighed.

"That's the point" she said sadly.

"So what are you going to do?"

"My dad is planning on an arranged marriage for me Sophia, but for now only me and my Dad knows", she sighed.

"To?"

"Austin Portwalt, Blake's best friend in Miami that Blake's visiting right now".

"You agree?"

"I don't have a choice Sophia, Austin likes me and dad likes him"

"When?"

"Still don't know but dad already talked to Austin's dad and he agreed too".

"You won't tell Max?"

"Why would I tell him? He doesn't care".

"Do you see the way he looks at you?" I bursted.

"It's been years Sophia, I've loved him since I laid my eyes on him when I was 14 and we're 24 right now. It's been 10 years Sophia, it hurts me everytime I look at him".

"Boys are stupid".

"Agree with that".  At the same time we arrived at the mall, thank God. I didn't want to make her mood drop.

"Let's go shopping and forget about stupid human beings called boys" Rose said as she got out from her car. I chuckled and followed her.

Boys are stupid.. Right?
