Walking to the lift with everyone staring crazily at me. I ignored their stare and pressed the button. I'm nervous as hell here.
The lift door opened slowly and I walked out from it. I asked the his assistant about his whereabouts and she lead me to his office.
Knocking the door and he ordered 'come in' , I walked in and he's reading something. His eyes suddenly looked up to me , he stood up and putting his hands on his pocket
"My daughter isn't here"
"That's why I'm here sir" I said nicely and shake his hand politely. I never met Jack Celastio officially before and here I am standing in front of him.
"What do you want?" He asked as he gestured me to sit on the sofa , he followed me. I sit there facing him and he raised his eyebrows
"Let's just talk to the point , shall we?" I said and he nodded
"I want you to bless us , give us permission to date. I know you're not giving her because the guilt that you have Mr. Celastio" He tensed
"You will break her heart , I know your reputation Aaron" He looked at me
"I won't , I love her" I said simple and it makes him alugh dryly
"Love? You always change girls everyday"
"That's before I met her" I snapped and he glared at me
"I can't let you two date-"
"Let us" My head snapped to the door , revealing Sophia standing there
"I said no" She walked inside and sit beside me. She linked her arms to mind and looked at her dad.
"Do I ever want something from you dad? I never beg something from you , I always do what you want in my life" She smiled at me and then turn to her dad again
"Studied in Harvard , working with you and do all the things you want me too but now I want to decide this for myself dad" Sophia hold my hand tightly
"Sophia yo-"
"I've been listening to our words again by try date Drake Cleventine but we didn't worked out. I never love him or like him. I listened to your words about avoiding Aaron because of the accident , I did that" She let me go and walked to her father
"I love him , it will never change dad. I tried everything but he already stole my heart. He won't hurt me , if he does I'll kick him in the ass first" Sophia hold her father's hand
"I will never hurt her sir" I added and he turned to me
"If I accept you , your family won't" Jack said
"If you bless us it will be easy to talk to his family dad" Sophia answered before I do and he looked at me.
"Why should I trust you with my daughter? She's my one and only princess" Jack raised his eyebrows
"I met her around 5 months ago , at first she was nothing but she interested me by rejecting me. Your daughter is a smart woman for rejecting me. She got me attracted to her and soowly creeping my heart out. As I got know her , she makes me can't sleep , I think of her when I'm at work and she just make me crazy. She tried to make me hate her but it doesn't work a bit , she make me like her more with that" I looked at Sophia and she blushed hard. She buried her face to her hands
"One day before Dean Samuel died , she told me.. She promise that she will comeback but she didn't. That's when my world tore aparts , I got 2 people that have a big influence in my life gone. I tried to track her in America but I didn't found her. I'm lifeless , a mess. The feelings I have for her is more just like , I always dreamed about me being with her having a small house in a country and having a small family. That's making me down even more because I can't find her" I looked straight into his eyes and tried to make him believe me
"I saw the news about her dating Drake and I can't take it so I decided to fly to UK and take her back with me. She rejceted me again. I'm 10 times worser than before , I buried myself to work but still observing her. I know what's she doing , I know who shems hanging out with until we have the same schedule in New York attending the charity"
"She didn't come because she doesn't want to see me , I went to her and not planning to let her run away again"
"I love him that he will never hurt me. I tortured him enough and I tortured myself enough. I can't denied my feelings again dad and if you're planning to seperate us then you will lose your daughter" Sophia said boldly and my eyes widen listening what she says
"I respected you as my parents dad and Aaron knows that , He even came here without me knowing. I was about to tell you that's why I came here" Sophia looked into her father's eyes
"I want you to trust me sir , I will never hurt her. I love her with everycell of my body and she will the one who keep me alive" I said and he sighed
"I-"
"We gave you the blessing honey" I snapped my head to the door , it's Sophia's mom.
"Emily" Jack said and she walked inside
"You can date my daughter Aaron" She smiled at me
"Emily" Her husband called but she ignored it
"He came to you to asked a permission Jack , trust him" She snapped to her husband , me and Sophia looked at each other and turned to them again
"You both can go , you can date her Aaron but if you hurt my little one. I will make you regret hurting her" Her mom said and I nodded. I smiled
"Thankyou" I shake her hand
"Thankyou mom" Sophia hugged her and she kissed her dad's cheek
"You too daddy" He sighed and Sophia walked to me. Taking my hand and pulled me out from his dad's office
"Oh fuck you Aaron , I love you so much!" She kissed me hard and I love it
