Chapter 17 - I Hate Fate (Edited)

I needed to find a way to get out and I needed help. I wanted to go to Aaron so badly and it killed me that I couldn't go.

Why was my dad so mad about this? I didn't get it.

I kept looking for someone that I could contact but I failed everytime. I wanted to connect my whatsapp but it didn't work because my phone was broke. I sighed, it was already 8:30 p.m, how was I going to find where Aaron was?

Suddenly my door clicked, someone unlocked it. My eyes widen and I quickly walked to the door. My mom walked in and I hugged her. I was crying my heart out to her and she stroked my hair.

"That's okay" she tried to calm me down by patting my shoulder.

"Mom please, let me go to him" I begged and she looked into my eyes.

"Your dad doesn't want you to hang out with him Sophia" she said slowly.

"Why? Why can I hang out with him? Give me answers" I sobbed and she sighed.

"Just don't Sophia, hear your dad out". Now she was the one begging me.

"His grandfather is dead mom, I'm not going to stand here and do nothing. He needs me mom" I held her hand and looked into her eyes.

"Dad will not approve your relationship Sophia".

"Mom please, this once. I never beg for anything before mom. Please he needs me".

"Your dad is going to kill me". She took car keys from her pocket and my eyes widen. I hugged her tightly and she chuckle.

"Go" she said simply, I nodded and ran out from the room. My mom gestured the guards to let me go. I quickly got in my car and stepped on the gas on my way to the hospital.

As I arrived at the hospital, I saw Jean. She was talking with the nurse about something when I ran to her.

"Jean" I called and she turned to me. Her eyes widen, the were puffy. She hugged me and cried again. I patted her back slowly.

"I'm sorry for your loss Jean" I said slowly.

"He's gone" she cried.

"I'm sorry" I whispered and she quickly stood up straight and wiped her tears quickly.

"I'm sorry I cried, again, you must be looking for Aaron right?" she asked and I nodded. I looked at her waiting for her answer. It seems she was battling with something in her mind and I looked at her confused.

"Jean, where is Blake?" I asked and she looked at me.

"He.. Uhmm" Jean was in shock, why am I asking her? Stupid Sophia

"Have you see Mr. Aaron Samuel?" I asked the nurse who talked to Jean earlier.

"He left to the garden around 10 minutes ago". The nurse answered and Jean suddenly stopped me. She shook her head slowly and I looked at her even more confused.

"Aaron needs me" I smiled to her and I let her hand go. I walked through the hallway and saw the direction to the garden. I turned right and walked out from the hospital.

My whole body froze, it's just like someone poured ice water all over me. My eyes widen and my heart was burning with anger. I clenched my hand tightly, took a few step backs and ran away.

Suddenly Jean caught me, she looked at me with eyes full of sadness.

"I'm sorry I-".

"Jean, promise me. Promise me you won't tell Aaron that I was here" I begged to her and she looked at me completely blank.

"Jean please. Promise me that YOU WILL NEVER SAY TO AARON THAT I CAME TO HIM" I held her shoulders and forced her to look at me.

"He has-".

"Please Jean, I beg you".

"Okay fine". She closed her eyes, nodding. I hugged her briefly and ran away from the hospital. I walked back to my car with tears that kept falling. My heart breaks into pieces, I got hurt again.

I found myself stepping on the gas and drove away from the hospital. I drove crazily and almost got hit a few times. My mind was all over the place now.

I should have known...

I should have known that he was using me. I was just a challenge, I was confident he couldn't win but now... He won without even trying and broke me without even realising.

I already knew from the start that he would hurt me, but I kept telling myself that I was different for him. He wouldn't hurt me. I was wrong to believe him.

He didn't date, he didn't do relationships and he used girls as his toy. My heart really broke this time, we met a few months ago but there I was liking a person who would never return my love.

I arrived home, walked inside to find my dad sitting in the sofa, staring me with fury in his eyes,.

"I told you no-".

"Send me UK" I said simply and my dad's eyes widen.

"You really-".

"Yeah, send me to UK tomorrow. I want to study again dad" I said and he nodded.

"Okay good" he said and I walked up the stairs.

"I'm going to introduce you to Cleventine's son, Drake Cleventine tomorrow. He's going to UK too to study and it's nice for you to know him" my dad said in a calm tone.

"Great can't wait to meet him" I said with an uninterested tone.
