Chapter 9 - Annoyed (Edited)

"Mr. Mecort we can't offer you that, that's our procedure". For the fourth time I explained to him but he still didn't understand.

"Why can't you? You're clearly the Celastio daughter so you can renew the procedure" I closed my eyes and breathed deeply as he said that, he was starting to get on my nerves.

"Mr. Mecort, you can contact my father if you want to. He's the real owner I just came here to tell you the details about the deal" I said smiling trying not to be obvious about my anger towards this old man.

"Joan, make me an appointment with Jack Celastio" he said to his secretary and she nodded writing it on her notebook.

"Okay then, I'll talk to your dad about this" he said and shaked my hand. He walked out from the office and I closed my eyes. I needed coffee after that meeting, Mr. Mecort is gave me a headache.

I walked out from my office and saw another flower on the counter. I looked at it in disgust, he doesn't understand huh?

I took my bag and walked to the lift, to go to Starbucks one block away from my building. My legs stopped walking as I saw the green forest eyes looking straight at me. He was leaning against his car, giving me an arrogant look.

"So do you like the flowers?" he asked.

"I hate flowers" I said as I took out my phone and walked to the street. I felt him sneak his arm around my waist securing me possessively.

"Put that arm away before I kick your precious jewel" I threatened with a cold voice.

"Love we haven't see each other for 2 weeks, I bet you miss me" I glared at him and he laughed. I was waiting for the traffic light to turn red so I could cross the street.

"I see you're avoiding me" he suddenly whispered in my ear causing me shivers and tingling sensations spreading all over my body. Suddenly I remembered my idea about being clingy.

"Why would I avoid you?" I put my left hand behind his back and put my right hand on his chest giving him a sweet look. He looked stunned by my sudden change of behavior.

"You've been rejecting my calls love" he smiled handsomely to me and my heart started beating weird.

"My phone must be broken" I smiled cheekily and suddenly the traffic light turned red for the cars, it's time to walk across. I walked first leaving Aaron there and suddenly he slipped his hand to mine. My eyes widen looking at his hand holding mine.

"Let me buy you another phone so you don't have the excuses for not answering my calls" he said. I was starting to get annoyed.

"No thanks" I turned to him sweetly.

"Where do you want to go now love?" he asked as everyone on the street started to recognize Aaron. Girls were giving him a flirty looks and some of them gestured him to call them as they slipped their number to Aaron's free hand.

"Starbucks" I answered simply and I wrapped my arm around his. He looked at me raising his eyebrows.

"Do you want coffee?" I asked with a bright face, why wasn't he annoyed yet?

"Of course love, how do you understand me so much?" He gave me a peck on my lips that startled me, I didn't see that coming. I tried to calm down my burning emotion.

We entered the starbucks and walked to cashier to order. I looked at the menu and decided to just take an americano.

"How about you Aaron?" I asked in the most sweet and annoying and clingy tone.

"Honey I'll take the same as you" he winked at me. Causing me to quickly look away and I stomped my feet secretly.

"What do you want sir?" The cashier twirled her hair and winked at him, I almost puked seeing that.

"2 Americano" I said and she kept looking at Aaron and now I'm the one who's getting annoyed.

"What size?" she asked him with a flirty tone.

"Venti sweetheart" Aaron answered and I looked at them both in disgust. Aaron took out his wallet but I quickly pay it.

"Love, the guys have to pay for their girls" Aaron said sweetly to my ear and I turned to him.

"I want it fast" I smiled sweetly and turned away from him. I want to puke really, why am I doing this?

We walked to the pickup section and waited there, I'm not interested in talking to Aaron just now.

"Here you go handsome" she gave it to Aaron and gestured 'call me', I saw a phone number written on Aaron's cup and I couldn't help but look at it in disgust.

We walked out from starbucks as I sipped my coffee. Thank God, it's so refreshing. I kept sipping my coffee and walked my way back to the office.

"Where do you think you're going Sophia?" Aaron said securing my waist again with his arm, my eyes widen and turned to him.

"What?"

"Let's have lunch" .

"No thanks handsome, I have work to do. Why don't you call one of them to company you?" Is he annoyed at me yet? Please be annoyed.

"I rather be with someone interesting" he smirked.

"Let's go shopping after that, how's that?" the idea suddenly popped into my mind.

"I would love too sweetheart" he smiled.

Why isn't he annoyed yet?!?!
