"Why suddenly change your mind?" My mom asked as I looked at the window and tears falling out from my eyes. I've been crying and crying all night.
"Nothing" I denied
"Sophia" She hugged me and I cried harder
"He kissed someone else mom" I confessed and she hugged me tighter. Hushing me so that I will stop crying
"It's okay it's okay. You'll find someone else who is better than Aaron" She stroke my head slowly
"Why dad hate him so much? He doesn't do anything wrong mom" I sobbed
"He doesn't Sophia but we did" I stopped and looked at my mom
"What?"
"Your dad doesn't hate him , he felt guilty and he didn't want you to be a part of The Samuel's revenge" My eyes widen
"What do you mean by that mom?"
"When you were a little , your dad went out of work late at night. He's tired , he really is. He wants to go home fast and suddenly a drunk driver passed by and your dad doesn't look. Your dad hit that car hard and the drunk driver is in coma" I gasped
"The drunk driver is Cason Samuel , the fifth son of Dean Samuel. After a long coma , he's dead" I closed my mouth with the both of my hands , I can't believe this is happening.
"Dean tried to sue your dad but it's not your dad's full fault. He's driving on a normal speed and Cason drove crazily and he lose control"
"It's not Dad's fault mom and it doesn't have anything to do with Aaron!"
"When Cason died , all the sons of The Samuel blame us. Especially Aaron's dad , he hates us"
"It was an accident" I said
"Try to be in their position Sophia , how would you feel? If someone you love was crashed by a person , even the one you love is the one who died" My mom said and she's right. She got a point and I understand.
"Mom I like him"
"I know , but are you sure that you're not a game or somekind of a revenge?" My mom asked and I can't answered that. I don't know Aaron's motives
"I don't know"
"If he's for you , he will comeback to you" My mom smiled and I nodded
Looking up at the window and thinking about the sudden flashback. I can't be with Aaron , I can't. Stop hopingn something impossible Sophia!
"Miss we're already here" My driver said and it makes me back from spacing out
"Thankyou" I walked out from the car and walked inside the hotel. Checking in and take the lift up. My mood really drops immediately
My phone rings and I quickly take it from my bag.
"Hey Rose" I answered with a weak tone
"Hey , you already arrive?"
"Yeah I'm at the hotel" I walked out at the 12 floor. Looking for 1204 and I put my hotel card to unlocked
"You okay?" She asked slowly
"I saw him at the airport" I sighed and closed my eyes
"You don't have to go to this Charity Event , we can enjoy our time outside" She suggested
"We have to Rose"
"We don't have too , you don't want to meet Aaron right?" She asked
"Yeah" I nodded even she can't see it
"Let's just grab a drink"
"Now?"
"It's almost 6 p.m so just get ready" She said
"Okay"
"Sophia! Wear something sexy" She reminded
"Yes Rose" I said and she chuckled. I ended the call and quickly jumped into the shower. I think I need to drink and just forget about everything.
Meeting Aaron face to face not making me better , he will attend that event too. I'm not ready to face him yet. I haven't got the courage to do that.
Walked out from the bathroom and taking my black sexy dress. I bought this like 1 week ago and I haven't get the chance to wear it. I quickly change into that and looked at the mirror.
I looked like a slut
It's a black tight dress with a cut outs on my waist. The line on the neck is really pretty. It crossed my chest. Taking out my black highheels and wear it. Putting on my make up and curled my hair. I looked at the time and it's almost 7.
My phone rings and it must be Rose but as I saw the caller ID it's Jean.
"Hey" I answered
"Hey Sophia , so do you come to the event?" She asked in a cherry tone
"Uhmm I'm in New York but I don't think I will attend the event"
"Why?"
"I'm not ready to face Aaron , Jean"
"So do you have any plans?" She asked
"I wanna grab a drink"
"I wanna join but I'm pregnant Sophia , I'm sorry"
"Congratulation! I'm so happy for you Jean" She chuckled
"Thankyou Sophia , are you going alone? Ask Rose to join you"
"Yeah" I answered
"Okay then , maybe we can see each other tomorrow? Have a coffee together?" She asked and I smiled
"Yeah let's meet up tomorrow"
"Okay!" She's happy
"Goodbye Jean , see you tomorrow" I said
"Okay" She ended the call and Rose's message me that she's on her way here. I'll just wait at the lobby.
Waiting for Rose at the lobby when suddenly a text message popped out
Asshole :
Can we meet somewhere?
My heart just fell down as I saw the contact a few times. It's Aaron. He's texting me , a car horn makes me looked up. I walked to Rose's car snd get inside.
"You ready?" She asked
"Ready"
"You look so sexy" She smirked and I winked
"Let's go"
